SERVICE & INDICATION:
To aid maintenance SAM e.p.s has a unique indication feature,
with a service light illuminating after the unit has been used
for 500 hours, or after 500 unit charging sequences. Battery
replacement is fast with an easy access compartment on
the rear of the unit, and the unit stores use history data for
download using optional software.

POWERFUL:
MGE has over 60 years experience in pump technology, and
is renowned for the “SAM” range of electric suction units. SAM
e.p.s is fitted with MGE’s newly designed, specialist, lightweight
piston pump – giving a maximum suction in excess of 600mm
Hg. The flow rate is equally impressive at over 32 l/min. Despite
its power, at low vacuum levels the pump is whisper quiet
- offering minimal disturbance to patients.

EFFICIENT:
A super efficient pump and an innovative power management
system give SAM e.p.s an outstanding running time of over
2 hours at maximum suction, from a single charge. At lower
settings running time is extended to over 11 hours!

SIMPLE:
A simple, single control knob with vacuum settings for typical
adult and paediatric procedures. The bright, clear, digital
display indicates the vacuum level and the battery status
– making SAM e.p.s extremely straight forward to operate,
even when wearing protective gloves.
UNIQUE ROTATING
CANISTER CRADLE:
There is no standard location for emergency suction. It may
be a hospital bed, a wet hillside or even the dark interior of a
vehicle following an RTC – but whatever the situation SAM
e.p.s has been designed to cope. Uniquely, a rotating canister
cradle means SAM e.p.s will operate on uneven surfaces
where other portable suction machines cannot.
In addition, SAM e.p.s incorporates a super-bright
LED light to assist in low light conditions.
EASY CLEAN:
SAM e.p.s has been designed
to be easily and effectively
cleaned and decontaminated
and is splash-proof, with
an IP44D rating. Cleaning
is further simplified by the
canister cradle being quick and
easy to remove. Furthermore,
SAM e.p.s can be supplied with
the revolutionary “BioCloak®”
anti-bacterial coating
(at an additional cost).
