Overview: Year 1 and 2 given the opportunity to develop
a skill in cooking

Breakfast Club
Overview: Free places for those most in need to
give a good start to the day
Positive Play
Overview: some of our children have additional
emotional needs; our trained TAs provide quality 1:1
support to meet the child’s needs
Aim/Outcome: Increased attendance and
performance in learning.
Aim/Outcome: Pupils learning remains on track as a
result of rapid and appropriate intervention
Family Support Worker
Overview: During the afternoon our Family
Support Worker works with families and
children to provide pastoral care and
support
Aim/Outcome: Increased confidence and
self-esteem. Pupils happier at school and at
home, more able to access learning.
Talk Time
Overview: Professional counselling service
provided by Action for Children
Aim/Outcome: Pupils learning remains on
track as a result of rapid and appropriate

Sports Coach
Overview: To work with pupils to reduce
behaviour issues and increase self-esteem.

pupils to reduce behaviour issues and
increase self-esteem.

Provision Map 2015-16
Speech and Language Therapist
Overview: Early intervention to address one
of our key areas of need on entry to school.
Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator
Overview: a sizeable proportion of our pupils eligible for
FSM also have additional educational needs. Our SENDCo is
0.4 non-class based, ensuring that pupils with SEN receive
the highest quality provision.
Aim/Outcome: A greater number of pupils at
ARE in S&L, in order to have a positive impact
on phonics and writing.
Aim/Outcome: Increased progress for pupils with SEN,
closing the achievement gap.
After school tuition/boosting
Overview: Pupils from EYFS to year 6 who
are underperforming in maths, reading or
writing receive 1:1/small group tuition from
TA/Teacher.
Intervention groups during the afternoon
Overview: Pupils from EYFS to year 6 who are
at risk of not reaching ARE in maths, reading
or writing receive small group tuition from
TA/SENDCo.
Aim/Outcome: A greater number of pupils
at or above ARE. Increased confidence and
self-esteem.
Aim/Outcome: A greater number of pupils at
ARE or above, increased progress and closing
the achievement gap.

Academic
Lunchtime Home Learning Support
Overview: Pupils from EYFS to year 6 receive
support 1 lunchtime per week to ensure that
home learning/reading or any mis-conceptions
are addressed at point of need.
Aim/Outcome: A greater number of pupils at or
above ARE. Increased confidence and selfesteem.
Purchase of Resources
Overview: More pupils are able to access
specific resources to suit their needs. Eg
ToexToe, Rapid, Nessy, Action Words…
Aim/Outcome: A greater number of pupils at
ARE or above, increased progress and closing
the achievement gap.
