Mike has done an incredible amount of fundraising, too, generating more than $120,000 from Bike MS and Walk MS, in addition to personal gifts and his efforts to rally people as the captain of Team Pentair, which has raised more than $230,000 over the last four years. Mike’s generosity, commitment and devotion has a significant impact on the present and future of the Society and will continue to make a difference for families affected by MS. MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn’t. We help each person address the challenges of living with MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward. The Upper Midwest Chapter serves more than 17,000 people living with MS in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, along with several counties in western Wisconsin and one county in Nebraska.
