Alternate Ending Literature Project – “The Monkey’s Paw”
By creating an alternate ending to the short story “The Monkey’s Paw”,
the purpose of the literature project is two-fold:
A. To demonstrate your understanding of the short story you selected
to read, you will create an alternate ending for this reading
selection. The ending must be a minimum of two pages.
B. To demonstrate your understanding of tone and voice, you will
retain the attitude of the characters, word choice, setting details
and voice.
