Dear Parent,
Our Insight parent portal has been running in the Academy since Easter and we have received a lot of
positive feedback from parents who have already started to use it. The ability to access live
attendance data, merits/demerits, homework set and other information, enables you as a parent to
respond and engage with your child whether that be to praise, or to challenge.
We are committed to empowering our parents in this way and with this in mind, I would like to tell you
about two new exciting ways in which we are expanding the Insight parent portal.
1. To make the Insight portal more accessible and convenient, we are launching the Insight App
which is available in the Google Play Store for Android devices and the Apple Store for Apple
devices. This App has been purchased by the Academy on your behalf and we encourage you to
download it onto your phone or tablet as soon as possible. You will need to add our Academy
address into the App for it to work. Please see below for instructions.
2. Traditionally, we have sent out student reports in the post. We are now pleased to announce that
all future reports will come into the Insight portal and will not be sent out in paper format. Additionally,
all historical reports we have on the system for your child can now be accessed from within the Insight
portal.
To access reports in the Insight portal:


From the website: once logged in, click on the Subjects Menu, then on Reports.
From the App: Click on the menu button then click on Reports.
If you have any problems whatsoever accessing the reports or other parts of the portal, please
contact the Academy for assistance. We can also reset your password if necessary. Once again,
may I encourage you to try out the App. Instructions are below for you to get started.

Insight Portal App Instructions
1. To find the app in the Google Play store or Apple Store, search for ‘Tasc Insight’
2. Once downloaded and installed onto your device, run the app.
3. On the Log in page, enter your Insight
Username and Password but do not sign in

4. Tap on the settings cog:
5. Type in the Insight web address as
follows:

6. Press the Sign In button
