Dress warmly for this imaginary journey to the Arctic. Learn about Inuit culture and
traditional games, stories, and print-making
techniques. After the gallery tour, children will be invited to create their own print.
Do you want to be an artist when you grow
up? Paintbrush in hand, together we’ll roam
the Gallery pretending to be artists. Learn how
artists paint and sculpt, then roll up your sleeves
to make your own work of art to take home!
Explore the Gallery on a magic carpet. This
party invites young children to explore visual
art by “landing” in the paintings, telling stories,
and using creative movement. The journey ends
with the children making their own paintings.
Ages 4–15 years
Have you ever noticed that the WAG looks like
a giant ship? Come aboard! Follow the secret
treasure map through the galleries, overcoming
various obstacles to find the X and get your
treasure! Arrrrrrr!
Book your child’s birthday party in our Rooftop
Sculpture Garden between June and August.
Kids get a fun, interactive tour of all the art in
the Gallery followed by a picnic on the rooftop.
Rain location available indoors.
Availability Thursday evening 5–8pm, Saturday
and Sunday, 11am–4pm • Flexible summer hours
Time 2 hours per party (includes a one-hour
room rental for cake and presents)
Resources Clients to provide their own plates,
cutlery, cups, and food.
Fee $175 for members, $195 for non-members
(includes up to 15 children and 3 adults). Larger
parties can be accommodated upon request;
additional charges would apply.
