Art Contest Rules & Entry Form Sponsored by the Bilingual /ESL/ World Languages Department This year's theme is: Making a World of Difference Artwork Criteria -Artwork must be original and represent Cinco de Mayo, and/or this year's theme, "Making a World of Difference." -The artwork must not be larger that 24" wide x 36" tall. -Artwork must be submitted on paper, poster board, canvas, or illustration board. -Medium used shall be one of the following: Acrylic, watercolor, pastels, pencil, crayon, charcoal, or computer-generated. -The artwork must not include 3-dimensional objects. -Cinco de Mayo, Making a World of Difference, the date, or any other title may not be included. Deadline for students to submit artwork for judging is April 7th. All entries must be delivered to the Fine Arts Academy by 10 a.m., April 7, 2014. A completed entry form must be attached to each piece delivered to the Fine Arts Academy. Download entry form from the Cinco de Mayo webpage on the EISD website. Each campus may only submit thier top 10 entries for this contest. The top three entries overall in secondary and elementary will receive awards and the grand prize entry will be printed on the official Edgewood ISD Cinco de Mayo Celebration T-shirt for 2014. There is no cash prize for entries. By submitting your artwork to the contest, the artist(s) is giving Edgewood ISD the right to use the artwork on T-shirts and various forms of media promoting the district event.
