Note that these appear to have been acquired piecemeal, with a preference for town centres. There
are no substantial blocks with complete coverage, though parts of Surrey verge on it. Condition is
variable: some sheets have been folded in the past, some have small tears at the edges, but all are in
at least respectable condition. Some have annotation by former users, generally of a professional /
official sort.
Numbers are quoted in the form A + B + C + D, where:
A is the number of 1st-edition sheets, B have Edition dates ranging from 2nd edition up to WW1, C
are inter-War, D are Provisional (NG) Editions. A number in brackets indicates that the sheets have
been photo-lithographed by a body other than OS; such sheets have inferior definition to the OS
product.
