Facebook Timeline
Image size: (851px w x 315px h)
Sometimes called header image – example above (yellow) showing it in situ which shows the square space
that is also taken up by the ‘profile’ image – please ensure no critical elements are included in this area.
Always include website URL for campaign, as image is not clickable.
Facebook Profile
Image size (180px x 180px)
Also sometimes just referred to as “logo”, or “header logo” – colour of logo background must complement
timeline image.
OTHER FACEBOOK IMAGES:
Facebook feed image (to sit within Facebook feed)
(what shows up when you post an image as part of standard post)
Ideal image size: 403px x 403px
Images to show in Facebook timeline as a preview, if your image is larger than 403px x 403px.
If your image is larger than this, the preview will show as cropped image – which may miss key parts of your
message – but if clicked on, the image will open to full size. It is best to avoid this if possible.

This larger image adapts to be the event preview image, the banner at the top of the event page, and the
advertisement preview image if you “boost” your post.

Use same idea as what you use for Facebook ad images, but with logo centred.

Twitter profile image
Image size: design must complement header Background (128px x 128px – curved corners are not required –
Twitter will adjust it automatically).

Please keep same as Facebook profile image design if possible for consistency.

Twitter recommends 1200×600, but it will resize any uploaded image to 520×260 pixels.
