GENERAL PURPOSE DISTRICT 1
To provide for and encourage the development of businesses and industries in close proximity to
transportation networks, as well as similar areas in adjacent communities where water and sewer
services could be provided; to enhance the tax base of the community and provide jobs; to allow
commercial and industrial growth that is consistent with the natural resource limitations of the community;
and reflecting the differing conditions, opportunities and limitations of various areas.

The Minimum Lot Area shall be (80,000) square feet
The minimum Road Frontage shall be (200) feet
The minimum Shore Frontage shall be (200) feet
The Maximum Impervious Surface Ratio shall not exceed 75%.
The Maximum Structure Height shall not exceed the height requirements of the Town of
Poland’s Building Code, Chapter 11. Height may be limited based on recommendation of
Fire/Rescue Chief because of the department’s limitations and capabilities.
6. The minimum principal structure setbacks shall be as follows:
