7th Annual Aurora Theatre Charity Golf Tournament

Were you one of the 10,000 people who saw Les Misérables at the Aurora Theatre last fall? The Suzi
Award winning cast, creative team, and orchestra of Les Misérables will be back for an encore
January 2015. Not only will this season be the first time in Aurora history that a show previously
produced will return, but audiences will witness actors flying on the Aurora stage in our season
opener Mary Poppins.
Were your children or grandchildren one of the 12,000 students who saw Peter Pan & Wendy or Cat
in the Hat on one of their school field trips this past season? Learning Library shows are developed
in conjunction with Gwinnett County Schools and reinforce classroom learning. Did you know that
Aurora Academy offers camps and classes to all ages and provides scholarships for needy families?
Aurora Academy & Conservatory was created to give children important life skills that will enable
them to be future leaders in the community and well-rounded individuals.
Did you know that every year Aurora Theatre produces a show in Spanish (with English Supertitles)?
Teatro Del Sol was created with an initiative to preserve Hispanic culture and better serve the rapidly
growing Hispanic community in Gwinnett County, the most diverse county in the Southeast.
Did you know Aurora Theatre partners with Gwinnett County Public Schools, Georgia Gwinnett
College, Gwinnett Technical College and Gwinnett Public Libraries?
Aurora Theatre is Gwinnett County’s largest non-profit performing arts organization and its only
professional theatre. Amazingly, we produce over 600 events each year and attract over 60,000
patrons each season. Despite record-breaking box office success, we must still rely on the charity of
successful individuals and corporations for about 1/2 of our $1.9 million budget.
