System Strength
HARRIS 1500™ panels, clamps and ties are designed to withstand concrete placement pressure up to
1500 pounds per square foot. HARRIS 1500™ panel frames are manufactured from 50ksi steel making
them the strongest handset panels available in the world. Panel frames and most accessories are
galvanized for long service life. The unique cast steel corner block protects the panel frame from job site
abuse. The form face is nine ply ½” birch plywood with a 220/220 plastic resin overlay on both sides to
provide a high quality concrete finish and extended panel life.
Handset Capability
HARRIS 1500™ panels are light enough to set by hand. The panels quickly clamp together to create the
fastest setting handset system in the world. The system transitions from a handset system to a gang form
system instantly. No additional hardware is required to cycle formwork from placement to placement.
HARRIS 1500™ clamps eliminate the need for horizontal walers even when moving large gangs. The
clamp weighs only 3 lbs and completely aligns the form with just a few hammer strikes.

HARRIS 1500™ Giant Panels
HARRIS 1500™ Giant Panels are available in 8’x8’ and
8’x4’ sizes. They are manufactured with the same frame
components as 30” and smaller panels and all hardware is
compatible.
HARRIS 1500™ Giant Panels:
• Allow forming of large sections of flat wall with fewer
panels and less hardware.
• Fewer joints result in a better concrete finish.
• Ties are reduced by up to 40% providing significant labor
savings plus a better concrete finish.
• Clamps are reduced by up to 65% -- another significant
labor savings.
• Giant Panels are made with galvanized frames for
long service life and 1/2” birch veneer plywood with
high‑density phenolic resin overlay for a smooth, flat
concrete finish.
• Allowable pour pressure for the giant panels is 1,350 psf
(limited by the safe working load of 15mm ties).

Harris 1500™ Panel Face
HARRIS 1500™ panels are faced with ½” birch veneer
plywood to provide the strength and durability to
withstand rigorous applications.
• ½” thick, 9 ply, cross-banded construction.
• Solid birch veneers for exceptionally smooth
concrete finish.
• Phenolic resin adhesive for maximum moisture
resistance and durability.
• Extra-thick, 220 g/m2 phenolic resin film thermally
fused to both faces for additional smoothness and
durability.
• Sealed plywood edges to minimize moisture
penetration.
• Caulked joint between frame and plywood to
ensure long service life.

HARRIS 1500™ Clamp
The HARRIS 1500™ clamp is lightweight and very strong. The
design effectively aligns and tensions the panel joints with
only a few hammer strikes. The lightweight clamp can be
easily carried in your tool belt and installed in a snap.
HARRIS 1500™ Standard Clamp
The HARRIS 1500™ Clamp is innovative and effective.
The patented 2 point clamp bearing design provides
a well‑tensioned, flush panel joint with only a few
hammer strikes. The standard clamp is used for nearly all
applications.
2 Point Bearing
• The front of the steel frame is tensioned.
• The ears of the clamp align the steel frame
profile ensuring a flush panel joint.

HARRIS 1500™ Adjustable Clamp
The HARRIS 1500™ Adjustable Clamp is used in applications
where fillers up to 6” in width are required. The adjustable clamp
has all the features of the standard clamp, yet provides the
flexibility to meet all your challenging job site conditions.

The HARRIS 1500™ Inside Corner is designed to be rugged and easy to use.
The all steel construction will stand up to years of jobsite use.
Imperial Dimensions
The Inside Corner measures 12”x12” which
makes forming corner applications simple.
The Inside Corner is available in three different
heights – 8’, 6’ and 4’.
Flexible 90° Corner
The design of the Inside Corner allows it to
flex 1° to provide stripping relief. The integral
bracing bar and locking pin ensure that a 90°
corner is maintained during concrete placement.
Removing the locking pin allows the Inside
Corner to flex, providing the relief needed when
formwork removal is difficult.
HARRIS 1500™ Outside Corner
The HARRIS 1500 Outside Corner is designed
for 90° corner applications.
• All steel construction will stand up to years
of job site use.
• Hot dipped galvanized to ensure long
service life.
• Easily installed with the one strike hammer
clamp.

HARRIS 1500™ Hinge Corners
HARRIS 1500™ Hinge Corners are designed
to withstand tough jobsite conditions. The all
steel construction and super duty hinge ensure
that the corners will remain flexible for years of
use. Hinge corners are available in 3 different
heights – 8’, 6’ and 4’.
Hinge Inside Corner
The Hinge Inside Corner measures 12”x12” at 90°
and can accommodate angles from 60° to 225°.
The Hinge Inside Corner is designed with integral
supports for horizontal walers to ensure maximum
stability when the corner is opened to angles greater
than 135°.
Hinge Outside Corner
The Hinge Outside Corner measures 4”x4” at 90° and
can accommodate angles from 45° to 240°.

HARRIS 1500™ Climbing Rods
The HARRIS 1500™ panel is designed with climbing
rods to make accessing the formwork safe and
productive. Consistent horizontal rib orientation
makes climbing the form easy, and with tie off
points every 3’ feet in height, safety is a built in
feature with the HARRIS 1500™ Clamp System.
• All 30” & 24” panels are fabricated with climbing rods.

HARRIS 1500™ Walkway Bracket
The HARRIS 1500™ Walkway Bracket provides a
large, 30” wide work platform while the Guard Rail
Post provides support for safety rails 42” above the
platform.

The HARRIS 1500™ Clamp System is made
by Americans for the American jobsite!
Our manufacturing team employs state-of-the art roll
forming equipment to produce the T Bolt Hat Section
and Steel Frame Profile. These roll formed components
are then set into precision jigs by the highly trained
fabricators at our sister company, HarMac Rebar &
Steel, and welded by computer guided robotic arms.
After welding, the completed frames are measured
and inspected to ensure they meet A.H. Harris’s precise
standards.
Frames for all HARRIS 1500™ panels and many
accessory components are hot dip galvanized to
prevent rusting and ensure long service life.
After galvanizing, frames are once again inspected
before the plywood face is installed and the finished
product is prepped and staged for shipment.
