The Miami Beach JCC Art Gallery invites all community
artists to submit their work to the First Annual MBJCC
Community Art Show. Original works of two dimensional
art will be displayed on our gallery walls from April 18 until
May 26. Three dimensional art will be on display during a
one-day Community Pop-Up Art Fair on May 12 as part of
our Yom Ha’Aztmaut Event.
Eligible works include: paintings, graphics, mixed media,
wood, clay, metal, glass, fiber art, indoor and outdoor
sculptures and photographs.

Community Art Show and Pop-Up Fair
Guidelines
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Miami Beach JCC Art Gallery invites all community artists to submit their work to the First Annual MBJCC Community Art Show.
Original works of two dimensional art will be displayed on our gallery walls from April 18 until May 26. Three dimensional art will be
on display during a one-day Community Pop-Up Art Fair on May 12 as part of our Yom Ha’Aztmaut Event.
Eligible works include: paintings, graphics, mixed media, wood, clay, metal, glass, fiber art, indoor and outdoor sculptures and
photographs. Each artist may submit a maximum of three (3) works of art – not limited to one category. Entries must not be larger
than six (6) feet in any dimension and may not exceed 50 pounds.Must be wired or have D-rings for hanging.
ENTRY INFORMATION
Artists must submit the application with an image of the work(s) of art, short description and pricing no later than Wednesday, April
6, 2016. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $36 or $18 for MBJCC Members.
All two-dimensional artwork must arrive to the JCC by Monday, April 12, 2016. All shipping and delivery of artwork is the responsibility
of the artist. All artwork must be picked up by Friday, May 27. Artwork may not be left or stored at the JCC.
All 3-dimenstional artwork must be delivered on Friday, May 13 for the event on Thursday, May 12. Unsold work must then be carried
out on Sunday, May 15. Artwork may not be left or stored at the JCC.
LIABILITY
It is suggested that artists carry their own insurance. Every reasonable care will be taken in handling work submitted, but no
responsibility will be assumed by the Miami Beach JCC for any loss or damage incurred in transit. All selected works will be insured by
the Miami Beach JCC while in the possession of Miami Beach JCC. All works will be insured for the dollar value written on the Entry
Form. Submission of work(s) constitutes agreement to terms and conditions in this application.
SALES
All works of art must be for sale, unless specified otherwise. The Miami Beach JCC will receive 30% on each sale. If a piece is sold, the
artist will receive 70% of the dollar value listed in the Entry Form.
