RELATED CORPORATE BODIES 32.1.1.3 32 RELATED CORPORATE BODIES 32.0 Purpose and Scope This chapter provides general guidelines and instructions on recording relationships between a person, family, or corporate body and related corporate bodies. 32.1 Related Corporate Body 32.1.1 Basic Instructions on Recording Relationships to a Related Corporate Body 32.1.1.1 Scope A related corporate body is a corporate body that is associated with the person, family, or corporate body being identified (e.g., a musical group to which a person belongs, a subsidiary company). Related corporate bodies include corporate bodies that precede or succeed the corporate body being identified as the result of a change of name. The relationship to the related corporate body is recorded by using an authorized access point and/or identifier representing the related corporate body. 32.1.1.2 Sources of Information Take information on related corporate bodies from any source. 32.1.1.3 Recording Relationships to a Related Corporate Body Record a relationship to a related corporate body by applying the general guidelines at 29.4.
