YES (As determined advantageous to the government IAW applicable regulations) Eligibility Requirements: To qualify for initial entry, applicants must meet initial eligibility requirements IAW NGR 600-5 and AR 135-18 Table 2-1. This includes a passing APFT and Height/Weight within 12 months of ad closing date (Current AGR and FTNGD-OS must be within 8 months). Before being accessed into the AGR program, Soldiers must successfully complete a physical IAW NGVT-HRO-AGR (2016-01), NGR 600-5 and AR 40-501. Soldiers must be confirmed worldwide deployable (to include austere environments) with no limitations on duty by the AGR office. Personnel must be eligible for a “SECRET” Security clearance upon entry into the AGR program. If the investigation is unfavorable, immediate action will be taken to terminate the individual’s AGR tour. Applicants must not have been previously separated for cause from active duty or a previous Reserve Component AGR tour. Applicants must currently hold the rank of 1LT(P) thru CPT and meet all eligibility requirements for promotion to CPT. Open to Basic Branch Officers and 70 series MS Officers only. Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as the Battalion S1 Officer for HHC 572nd BEB 86th IBCT (MTN). Serves as the subject matter expert for personnel matters related to the Battalion S1, the Battalion Command Group and subordinate Company Readiness and training NCOs on all personnel and administrative programs involving readiness, policy, personnel accounting, strength reporting, and personnel services. Serves as the subject matter expert for strength management including recruiting, retention, and attrition. Develops, implements and evaluates the personnel and administrative policies for the Brigade. Ensures the completion of line of duty (LOD) investigations and responds to congressional inquiries and IG complaints. Provides support for community activities such as parades, celebrations, and military funerals. Plans, organizes and assigns work to employees engaged in personnel and administrative work assigned at the command level. Serves as the primary advisor for personnel reporting areas of the Battalion Command level organizational readiness report. Develops, manages and directs personnel systems, which support and implements programs concerning personnel with the Command. Interprets regulations for individuals, subordinates, and commanders. Tracks and reports CCIR. Performs other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Applicants will not be required to request a branch transfer, however must attend the Human Resources Management Qualification Course (HRMQC) to be qualified within 12 months. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and must be able to operate military vehicles, equipment, and office machines within the unit of assignment.
