For up‐to‐date information on the availability of Home Use Program software, please visit http://microsoft.com/licensing. It is strongly recommended that AntiVirus software be installed on computers. TCCNHS support may choose not to troubleshoot devices if virus or spam activity is determined as the problem and antivirus software is not installed. TCCNHS will provide IT Support for students’ personal devices as the need relates to accessing and using College resources. Blackboard Notes Blackboard is a web‐based learning management system. A computer check is available by going to https://thechristcollege.blackboard.com and selecting the tab labeled Check Browser Settings found near the middle of the window. In order for Blackboard to function correctly, Internet Cookies must be enabled and Pop‐Up blocking must be disabled or configured to allow pop‐ups from Blackboard. Additional Tip: You can also modify your Internet security settings to include Blackboard as a trusted site. For Windows operating systems, open your Internet Explorer and from the menu click on Tools/Internet Options/Security Tab/Trusted Sites. Add http://www.thechristcollege.edu and https://thechristcollege.blackboard.com Uncheck the box marked “Require server verification (https) for all sites”. Click Close. If you have any questions, you may contact Jerilin Morris by email at [email protected] , or by phone at 513‐585‐3140, or by stopping in 220 on the 2nd floor.
