The balances for all camp sessions are due by Friday, June 10, 2016. Please see
the attached insert for Early Bird Registration amounts.
Fees are refundable only if the school office receives written notice of
withdrawal of the camper by June 6, 2016 for Session I, by June 20, 2016 for
Session II, and by July 5, 2016 for Session III. No fees are refunded if camper
is withdrawn after these dates. Hourly day care is billed after the session ends
and is due no later than July 15, 2016 for Session I, July 29, 2016 for Session
II, and August 12, 2016 for Session III.
*Field trips may exceed stated camp hours. Please see schedule for exact dates
and times. All other events will be held on the Saint Mark’s School campus. No
on-site care is available during field trip hours.

Escape XVI will be held on the beautiful 5-acre campus of Saint Mark’s
School, offering a unique experience for children entering grades 2-7.
Last summer was hard to forget. Twice weekly field trips took us to the
El Capitan Theater, Huntington Beach, California Adventure, Raging
Waters, Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, Scandia, Boomers, and Universal
Studios. While on campus, teamwork and fun were a part of many
activities including “Capture the Flag”, Water Carnival, “Counselor Hunt”,
“Swedish Kickball”, and “Dance, Dance Revolution”. Whether playing
games, making friendship bracelets or lanyards, cooking, performing
drama, or doing arts and crafts, smiles and laughter were everywhere,
coming from both campers and counselors alike.
This summer expect new adventures and new memories. Spend time with
old friends and make new ones too!
Your Escape Leaders
Julie Toyama – Julie is the Physical Education teacher and Director of
Auxiliary Services for Saint Mark’s School. She was the co-director of
Odyssey ’07, Escape ‘08, Escape ’09, Escape X, Escape XI, Escape XII,
Escape XIII, Escape XIV, and Escape XV as well as a counselor for the
Anderson H2O Adventure Camp. She has over 25 years of education and
camping experience.
Franklyn Shen – Franklyn is the Business Manager for Saint Mark’s
School and also the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries at the
Church of the Good Shepherd. He was the co-director for Escape ’08,
Escape ’09, Escape X, Escape XI, Escape XII, Escape XIII, Escape XIV,
and Escape XV and has over 25 years of experience in both day and
residential camping.
