PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The OMG CR Double Base Sheet Fastener
Assembly is a one-piece unit, precision
formed from G-90 galvanized steel and
coated for corrosion resistance. This
fastener is designed to secure base sheets
to a minimum 2-inch thickness of poured
lightweight insulating concrete in applications that require maximum withdrawal
resistance. An OMG Pogo Stick should be
used to install the fastener.

A P P L I C AT I O N
Lightweight insulating concrete must be
surface dry and reasonably smooth prior to
roofing. For best performance, the fastener
should always be installed perpendicular to
the substrate.
PULL TESTS
Prior to job-start, contact roof cover
manufacturer to determine the correct nailing
pattern. In reroofing applications, roof should
be inspected or tested prior to job start to
determine the pullout values.
• CR Double Base Sheet Fasteners are
packaged for easy handling on the roof.

CR Double Base Sheet Fastener is
assembled with a rectangular, ribbed
Galvalume plate.
• Entire fastener is coated to prevent
in-place corrosion.
Use the OMG Pogo Stick to install the
fastener. See Accessories section.
• The OMG CR Double BSF is FM and
Miami Dade approved.

The fastener will be an OMG CR Double Base Sheet Fastener Assembly with a
head size of 2.4 in. x 1.3 in. and four legs each 1.7 inches long. The complete
fastener, head and legs, must be coated. The fastener must be FM approved and
made in America.
coating re q uirement
The fastener will have a corrosion resistant coating and must meet Factory
Mutual Approval Standard 4470. The plate must be Galvalume® and also meet
Factory Mutual Approval Standard 4470.
A pplication
The OMG CR Double Base Sheet Fastener Assembly will be embedded into a
minimum of 2 inches of poured lightweight insulating concrete. Lightweight insulating concrete must be surface dry. For best performance, the fastener should
always be installed perpendicular to the substrate. Installation of fasteners too
far apart or too close together can result in interaction of forces on the substrate
and lead to a reduction of fastener performance.
Note: On reroofing applications, prior to job bid, roof deck should be inspected or
tested to determine the pullout values.
