Dear Year 7 Parents/Carers
Each year St Gregory’s College and St Patrick’s College stage a combined Musical.
Each school has the responsibility of staging the Musical every second year and the other school is invited
to participate.
This year St Gregory’s are staging Beauty and the Beast. In order to give our young students an
experience being involved with the creative and performing arts, and hopefully show them how much fun
they can have being part of a Musical, all Year 7 will be involved in the Musical. Some Year 7’s are already
in the main case, however this letter is in regard to all Year 7 as a Year Group.
The Musical takes place over 3 nights, Thursday to Saturday 15th to 17th June with a nightly performance
at 7.30 pm. Below is a list of homerooms for Year 7 with 1 night allocated for your son to attend. If the
night allocated does not suit you, your son can perform on another night.
All students will need a plain white t-shirt, black/grey pants or jeans (school pants are fine) and black
shoes. All students will need to have a small torch that will be used in the performance.
There will be one practise after school on Wednesday 14th June and Year 7 will need to be here from 3.30
pm to 5.30 pm (they will not need their clothes for this but will need to bring the torch). (All other
practise times will be done during school times).
Tickets for the Show will be available soon online and an email will be sent to all parents regarding this in
the next week.
