Point of view is the perspective, or vantage point from
which a story is told by the narrator. Point of view
refers to the perspective from which a story is told, or
the voice in which the story is told. The point of view
also helps determine:
 A story’s tone
 How much a reader learns about characters
 A reader’s opinion of characters
 A reader’s involvement in the story
First Person-a character in the story; uses first person
pronouns
Third person point of view
Limited third person point of view is where the
narrator relates the inner thoughts and feelings of
only one character, and everything is vied from this
character’s perspective.
Omniscient third person point of view the narrator
knows and tells about what each character thinks and
feels.
