Official Rules
NO PURCHASE, TRANSACTION OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
DRAWING OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES, D.C., (EXCLUDING RESIDENTS
OF FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND), WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER AT TIME OF ENTRY.
DESCRIPTION/HOW TO ENTER: The Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) (“Sweepstakes”)
begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on 8/1/14 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT on 9/23/14
(“Sweepstakes Period”).
Former TD Bank Customers who become a new HRCCU member will receive one automatic entry when they
open a Share Savings Account at any HRCCU branch during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. A purchase, transaction
or obligation such as opening a Share Savings Account will not improve the chances of winning the prize. See
the HRCCU website at www.hrccu.org or ask a Financial Services Associate for complete Account disclosure
information.
To enter without a purchase, transaction or other obligation: Print your complete name, street address (no P.O.
Boxes), city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number and e-mail address (optional) on a 3” x 5” paper, place in
a stamped envelope and mail to: “HRCCU Visa Gift Card Drawing,” One Third Street, Corinth, NY 12822, Attn.:
Marketing.
All mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 23, 2014 and received by September 30, 2014 to be
eligible for the drawing. Proof of mailing is not considered as an eligible entry in this Sweepstakes. Limit one (1)
entry for each Share Savings Account opened with a maximum limit of three (3) entries allowed for each eligible
household, regardless of entry method. Entries generated by script, macro, or by any other automatic or mechanical
means are void.
ELIGIBILITY: Drawing open to legal residents of United States or District of Columbia, excluding residents
of Florida and Rhode Island, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees and volunteers of Hudson
River Community Credit Union (“Sponsor”), their advertising/promotion agencies and their immediate families
(spouse, parents, IRS dependents, children and siblings and their respective spouses) and/or those living in the
same household of such employees, whether or not they are related, are ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to
verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. Sponsor is not required to enter into correspondence with entrants,
including via e-mail. Drawing is subject to all applicable, federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void in Florida
and Rhode Island and wherever else prohibited by law.
RANDOM DRAWING DETAILS: Random drawing will be conducted on October 6, 2014 from all eligible
entries received. Odds of winning the Prize will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the
Sweepstakes Period. Decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
Prize is nontransferable and no substitutions permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves
the right to substitute the prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value or comparable use, except
as otherwise provided herein.
PRIZE: One Visa $500 Gift Card. Sponsor will not replace a lost or stolen Gift Card once it is in winner’s possession.
Any and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically stated within these
Official Rules as being provided, are the sole responsibility of the winner, including, without limitation, all
federal, state, and local taxes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: All materials submitted become the sole property of HRCCU and will not be returned. The potential winner will be notified by mail, phone and/or e-mail, depending upon entry method, and the
potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form, and
(where legal) a Publicity Release along with W9 Tax Form within 7 days of attempted notification. As required by
law, all winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to report their prize to the IRS and complete the
W9 Form with their social security number. The Affidavit/Release Forms are subject to verification by HRCCU.
The awarding of the prize is contingent on individual’s full compliance with these Official Rules, as determined
by HRCCU in its sole discretion.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission of the winner to allow HRCCU to use winner’s name, comments,
city, state, photograph, voice and/or likeness for purposes of advertising, trade and/or publicity without further
compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the World Wide Web, without
notice, review or approval, unless prohibited by law. If winner is an HRCCU member, he/she must have an
account in good standing in accordance with the terms described in the Account Disclosures and Agreements in
order to receive the prize. By participating in this Drawing, the entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules
of this Drawing and the decisions of the judges. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between
disclosures or other statements contained in any Drawing materials or advertising materials and the terms
and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All Entrants agree to
indemnify and hold harmless employees and volunteers of HRCCU and all of its respective employees, directors,
officers, agents, successors and assigns (collectively “Releasees”), from any injuries, losses, damages, claims and
actions of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Drawing or acceptance, possession, use,
non-use or misuse of the prize that may be awarded. HRCCU, as defined above as part of Releasees, shall not be
responsible for printing, typographical or other inadvertent errors in any Drawing-related materials or other errors
relating to or in connection with the Drawing, including without limitation, errors which may occur in connection
with the administration of the Drawing, the processing of entries, the announcement of prize; or for mail-in entries
that are stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, incorrect, illegible entries or postage-due mail; or
for other paperwork to be processed that are lost, misdirected, delayed, undecipherable, interrupted, fail to enter
into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly for any reason, including
any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computer, telephone, paper transfer, or human error
or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE
DRAWING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWS & SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE,
HRCCU RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH
PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
HRCCU’s failure to enforce any terms of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other
provision. If, in HRCCU’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic
tampering with any portion of the Drawing, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or
technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security,
fairness, or proper conduct of the Drawing, HRCCU reserves the right at their sole discretion, to disqualify any
individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the
Drawing, or to terminate the Drawing and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all transactions
and write-in entries received as of the termination date. The Sponsor will not be responsible for acts of God,
dangerous weather conditions, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other matters beyond
the Sponsor’s reasonable control (each a “Force Majeure” event) that may cause the cancellation or postponement
of the Sweepstakes.
PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION: Personal information collected from entrants will be used by
HRCCU for the purpose of administering the Drawing only. HRCCU shall not sell, share or otherwise disclose
personal information of entrants with third parties. In the event of any discrepancy between the privacy policy

DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity,
interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor
in connection with the Drawing, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United
States and the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of
the State of New York, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction
other than the State of New York.
Except where prohibited, as a condition of participating in this Drawing, each participant agrees that any and
all disputes that cannot be resolved between the participant and any Released Party, claims and causes of
action arising out of or connected with this Drawing, or the prize awarded, or the determination of the winner
must be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Further, in any such dispute, under no
circumstances will a participant be permitted or entitled to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to
claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than
participant’s actual out-pocket expenses (if any), and participant further waives all rights to have damages
multiplied or increased.
