The maximal rotations speed depends on 2 factors:
- The shaft tolerance (see diagram below)
- The seal type. 3 lips seals will reduce the speed to 30% of the maximum

The inclination angle depends on 2 factors:
- Body types:
Units with regreasing: α = ± 2°
Units without regreasing: α = ± 5°
- Protection cap: limit the inclination to α = ± 1°
Surface treatment / anti-corrosion
- The cast iron housing are treated with a primer before painting !
- Pressed steel housings are zinc-plated
