BUSINESS OF THE MONTH
Bethany Terrace
Nursing Centre
Bethany Terrace Nursing Centre,
located at 8425 N. Waukegan Rd. in
Morton Grove, has been a member
of the Morton Grove community
since 1965. They provide many
specialized programs, including
Therapy, wound Care, Alzheimer’s/
Dementia and their newest – The
Terrace Suites.
Doctors choose Bethany Terrace for
their superb Rehabilitation Center.
Specializing in physical, speech and
occupational therapies, they
differentiate themselves from many
other skilled nursing facilities by
providing an on-site Psychiatrist to
coordinate the rehabilitation of their
residents. Persons recovering from
fractures, joint replacement surgery
and strokes benefit from the
progressive treatment. Their
Therapy team works closely with
their Wound Care program as well.
A Certified Wound Care Nurse
coordinates this program.
As one of Illinois’ first Alzheimer’s
specialists, their 20 years of
experience have shown the
importance of providing a home-like
setting for those affected by the
disease. Memory joggers, a sensory
stimulation room, pet therapies and
gardens are just some of the
programs they offer in their newly
remodeled units. Of course this is in
addition to the love, encouragement,
and understanding that they provide
to all of their residents.
Bethany Terrace now offers Terrace
Suites. The Terrace Suites will consist
of fifteen spacious private rooms,
offering the environment of assisted
living but having the security of being
a licensed nursing facility, and the
convenience of being fully furnished.
Each Suite will be luxuriously carpeted
and decorated, will have its own
bathroom, shower, cable T.V. with
VCR/DVD player, a refrigerator, and
room to personalize furnishings. The
Terrace Suites will also offer a café
with restaurant-style dining, a media
center, conference room with internet
access, complimentary newspaper
service, beauty shop and spa with
whirlpool tub, bus outings,
transportation assistance to various
appointments, a full range of activities,
and much more. In addition, Terrace
Suites will have its own separate
entrance from the lobby.
Bethany Terrace welcome visitors
at anytime, and would like to invite
you to their Terrace Suite Open
House on May 18th from 3:30pm to
5:30pm. Please call 847-965-8100 to

DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Spring is finally here! With warmer weather creeping in, everyone is anxious to get outdoors and have some fun, but
with all the demands to grow your business, how can you possibly fit it all in? Well, the Chamber has the answer –
the Chamber’s 26th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser & Dinner!
By participating in the golf outing you will not only be gaining exposure for your business by networking with over
120 business people, you will also be helping the Chamber raise funds for valuable programs and services. You don’t
even have to be a good golfer to participate. If you don’t golf – then join us for dinner.
If you can’t make it to the event, sponsorships and donations are great ways to increase visibility for your business.
Sponsors will be recognized in the newsletter, in the event program and on signage at the event. Donations for the
small raffle and goodie bags are still being accepted and are a great way to promote your business to the golfers. Gift
certificates, promotional items, and any golf related items are welcomed. We have 5 advertising specialties
companies in our membership that can help you with your giveaway or donation. To obtain a list of these members,
call the Chamber office.
Buying raffle tickets is another way to show your support. Raffle tickets are on sale for $10 per ticket or 3 for $25.
Each ticket gives you a shot at winning $1000 cash, a Nike/Titleist Golf Package (courtesy of Jack Ahr Design, Inc. &
Costco Wholesale), or patio furniture (courtesy of Lawnware). If every member bought 3 tickets, we will raise $6000
for Chamber services and programs. The best part is you don’t even have to be present to win! If you are interested
in purchasing raffle tickets, use the enclosed flyer or contact the Chamber office.
Dust off those golf clubs and join in on the fun! Volunteers are needed for registration, overseeing game holes and
ticket sales. If you have any questions or if you would like to volunteer, call me directly at 847-965-0330.
