The Town Crier The People’s Voice Volume 2, Number 2 A Monthly Publication Yearly Subscription: $24.00 If I Were President BEFORE YOU READ THIS, LET ME WARN YOU THAT THE JUDGMENTS ABOUT TO HAPPEN WILL MAKE THE FOLLOWING LOOK LIKE CHILD’S PLAY. The God who founded this country, blessed this country and is about to judge this country is a holy God, He is a righteous God, a wrathful God. As is stated in the book of Hebrews “He chastens every nation He loves and scourges everyone He receives” so as to make them sons. So America, the games are over; the crooks, manipulators, do gooders are all finished. There are no easy solutions to the web in which we are ensnared. God took the easy way out when He destroyed the world in times past. Now, because He has found a remnant who has suffered to the shedding of their old lives, will He spare America?? Has He invested too much of His life in America to totally annihilate it?? Time and the reaction of the people to His disciplining will determine the severity of God’s judgment. How will God judge America??? If He is, indeed, a righteous God He will judge America as He judged Sodom and Gomorrah, Hiroshima, and the world, in the days of Noah. He will begin by annihilating Washington, D.C. Now do not think I am any more drastic in my assumption than were the people warning corrupted governments in days of old. With God accomplishing that little task of ridding America of its evil head enabling the people to begin thinking for themselves, I have some ideas for “what I would do if I were president”. I think I could accomplish what needs be done in less than four years. 1. I would begin by making a worldwide apology for our arrogance, false pride, for not being who we profess to be—(that is, a nation under God), leading the world down a path to hell. Then I would have all Americans get on their knees and ask God to forgive us for throwing Him out of our hearts and country, and instead building a nation with a king and queen as the head. Now let me ask all of you red blooded Americans — could you in good conscience take 35 million dollars of money stolen from the American people and spend it on a big party of drink, dancing and orgy calling it an inaugural party???? Our forefathers fought the Revolutionary War over less than what is taking place in America today. Taxes without consent of the people — using a corrupted 16th Amendment as legal right to steal from the people. The pomp and ceremony of our inaugural fiasco made England's crowning of the queen look rather bleak. The parade of red-coats was the ultimate of disgust. News reports on the “Texas Seven” call them the most dangerous wanted men in America. The most corrupted hearts — the ones who lie, steal, cheat and even murder and have a legal right to do so, are “the heads of our government”. Believe me, if Bush is really out to help the people, that money thrown away on a big party to satisfy a few could have been spent on improving our prisons, building power plants or whatever — helping “we the people”. Anyone running for any government post is a power hunger, self important egomaniac with a messiah complex. And, most hired as government employees usually cannot get a job in the real world or they are too lazy to do a day’s work. 2. I would take away welfare and open the borders. Immigrants founded this country and immigrants keep us a melting pot of God’s heart. It is not the Mexicans or the Asians who have screwed up our nation — it is the offspring of the Caucasians who founded our country — white skinned, empty head and evil heart. Am I angry?? You bet I am angry. If you are not angry it is because you are either sound asleep or you do not give a damn if America survives or dies. 3. I would make every church responsible for the welfare of every member — that is the schooling, the taking care of the old age, the orphans etc. And with no help from the government as there will be no government as we know it now. That would cut the church membership down to size and take the pride out of the growth in numbers and not in inner stature. And, oh yes, for a change, the pastors would be responsible for the spiritual growth and would be accountable for every moral action of himself and the congregation. The religion of the land would be the one that filled the hearts of the pioneers who founded our country and the religion of the only true God, whose son is Jesus Christ. All would not have to belong to a church. That would be the only freedom of religion. All other religions would have to leave the country and go back to the country that was fashioned after the god that they worship — the god they now bring into this country. No more false temples. Either you belong to a living entity called the “church” or nothing. God’s light still shining on this country is the only reason we are yet the most blessed country in the world. 4. All security for the so-called big-shots would be removed immediately. Who in the hell do these little criminals think they are to make us pay for the safety of their lives??? In a righteous country, most of those we are paying to protect would be in jail or hanged. 5. Every government pension would be stopped immediately. All people would work till they died. The church would take care of the truly disabled. Folks, let me ask you. Would you pay Hitler a salary after getting his country into the state his country was in??? Why would we continue to pay the ones who got us into this big mess??? 6. All lettered “services” (OSHA, IRS, etc.) would be annihilated immediately. And every person involved in the carrying out the edicts of these dictatorial agencies would make a public apology for the harm done to the business world of America, and to the entrepreneurs who sweat blood and tears against all odds and served the community with a business. Folks, it is pay-back time. All who are responsible for stealing from the American people would be responsible for their deeds of enslaving the American people and given time in jail or death sentence. 7. All laws with no common good for the people would be rescinded and no laws could be made ever again as the problems would be the problems of the church. 8. Remove all useless city employees. Start with the mayor. We do not need a mayor or a city manager. We need no code enforcement officers as there will be no codes. Just what if the people were held accountable for their actions? Each restaurant would have its own drawing card. Handicap parking would be an option. People who are lazy and do not need or want to be rehabilitated may choose a restaurant or place of business who caters to them. Having lived with a handicapped person, I know we make cripples out of them with our so-called good deeds. Permits and codes have never done a thing for the health and safety of a city, state or nation except cause heartache, a lack of free enterprise, robot looking cities and buildings. 9. To become a policeman, lawyer, or anyone connected with the justice system, one of the prerequisites would be three months or more in jail depending how long it took him to understand how awesome is his job. Lying would be called perjury for the police like it is for all of us peons who pay their salaries. 10. Firemen would be just that — a man who helps put out fires. In their free time they would be expected to keep the city free of trash. No more inspecting buildings. People who own the buildings are more concerned about fires than someone who has no interest in the business. The fire truck would be taken out only when needed to put out fires. Grocery shopping and donuts and coffee sprees with the big red truck would be over. 11. The fire and brimstone would take care of the state capitol. Has anything beneficial every come out of a capitol of any kind???? Or, an alternative — if the state votes to make the capitol a museum with all the sin committed against the people of the state displayed in the museum — then we let it stand. Did you ever wonder why we have to get a permit every five years to drive our car??? Or did you ever wonder who the hell made up that moronic written test the bastards at the DMV so gleefully give to us???? Did that test make you a better driver??? And why isn’t the passing grade given to the high school drivers a permit that would last for life??? Would you clear thinking Americans not just suppose that the more one drives the more skilled one becomes, just assuming he learned right in the first place? All state run institutions would be taken over by private businesses or taken care of in the church. To hell with the state. Did you ever wonder how many terrorists the friskers in the air terminals have caught??? Did you ever wonder how our airline service ever survives after the heavy handed government finishes making hoop after hoop to jump through and a never ending amount of money spent on good appearances. Don’t be fooled by that which looks so good to the eye. 12. Capital punishment would be by injection only. Away with the electric chair. Any prisoner would be given every opportunity to get rehabilitated before being executed. 13. All prisons would be institutions for rehabilitation. Anyone treating the inmates with less respect than they would want to be treated would be fired. Churches would be held responsible for the upkeep of the prisons and the programs for training the inmates emotionally, physically, spiritually and vocation-wise so as to adjust to a society. 14. Now let us get a look at our judicial system. Our justice system is anything but that. Most judges lack common sense, say nothing of the ability to judge correctly. Instead of upholding the Constitution as they have sworn to do they use the idiotic code book as the plumbline for judgment. Susan Shaw is perhaps as fair as judges go in Orange County, California. However, she also opened my eyes to the power and the evil that resides in the hearts of the majority of judges. With a stroke of her pen she gave to the fire department of Costa Mesa and the police department the right to search and seize our warehouse. She had never been to our warehouse — had no reason whatsoever to grant the search, thus breaking our protection under the fourth amendment to the Constitution. We were hopelessly helpless as they took us to court and did ever manner of evil against us. However, our God is greater than man and because our business belongs to Him, whether we survived or not depended upon His protection and not the courts. Their judgment is thundering down the road. 15. As far as foreign policy goes — sending any money to Israel would be forbidden. I would not be so presumptuous as to take the money from the hard working Americans and send it to any country without the consent of the people. The church is so backslidden that they interpret a scripture in the Old Testament as a way to get blessed by God by sending money to Israel. Can you believe such garbage comes from the church leaders? After the above house cleaning, which is just the tip of the iceberg, we will once again see people taking on the responsibility for their lives; thinking for themselves, and yes, even being kind to one another and treating one another as they want to be treated. Now we are back to our grass roots — not to a democracy, not to a republic, but to a theocracy. Anyone attempting to set up a government that would have one person ruling over another would be hanged by the neck unto death. Volume 2 Number 2 — The Town Crier — February, 2001 Hull’s Haven “Signs of the Times” Contest Winner We ran a contest in the December, 2000, issue of The Town Crier, offering a $100 prize to the best “Discernment of the Times” essay submitted. Our winner, Cherie Wagner, from Pleasant Valley, New York, has chronicled the dilemmas facing this generation of the world’s citizens with depth and eloquence. We think you will respect and agree with what she has to say. The assaults on our fragile ecosystems seem endless. The daily news blares in vivid detail the most current problem and at the same time offers little in solution. Instead they march on to the next news breaking event worldwide. Oil spills, energy crisis, the accelerating of global warming, are just the tip of the iceberg of critical situations confronting us. Many problems stem from our dependence on fossil fuels. Their extraction, mining, refining, transport and combustion all have a profound effect upon the environment. We have failed to read the signs of the time and we have been lethargic in developing safe alternative forms of energy. We have not managed the resources available and not effectively worked towards effective conservation and face near crisis situations as we rapidly continue to deplete limited supply. Below are two Letters to the Editor published last week in the Orange County Register and LA Times respectively, from Don’s “pen of a ready writer”. “President Bush’s heart is in the right place, but his head is not. Charity is a transaction between individuals, thus Charity helps people get back on their own feet. Government grants are transactions between institutions, which only create more dependents and more demand for more grants. Worse yet, 97.5% of federal monies are taken by force by the IRS from hard-working, peaceful people. Thus federal money is STOLEN money. What will those churches do when 30, 40% or more of their “charity” budgets are government money, and the government asks them to do something that violates their moral codes, or lose their funding? If there is such a creature as a devil, it is government money for “faith based charities” because this system of financing can only result in a government take-over of the churches. Thus, church leaders who accept government money are selling, not only their own souls, but the souls of their churches. The best thing that President Bush and Congress could do for faith based charities is to repeal the A myriad of problems (signs) stretch before the world and impact all of us. We are truly all connected and that which affects one eventually affects all. Page 2 coercive income tax and eliminate the criminal IRS. Then we ordinary people could afford to support the charities of OUR choice, not the government’s. And we’d be a Constitutional Republic once again.” ````````````````` “I keep reading about layoffs — Chrysler, J.C. Penney, Crown books, and more — but never any government agencies! Why not??? Government produces NOTHING. All wealth is produced in the PRIVATE sector by BUSINESSMEN. Since each government job is supported by at least two private-sector households, government should eliminate at least one job for every two lost in the private sector. Otherwise, our economy will degenerate into a full bore Socialist state where EVERYBODY works for the government and NOBODY produces ANYTHING. (Incidentally, this is the real reason Communism/Socialism collapsed in eastern Europe, not because of America’s defense build-up.) On the other hand, such a development might awaken the American people and help them realize that ALL governments are parasites that live off the production of others. Then we could get our Constitutional libertarian nation back. The Chism Trail — by Shivaun Chism Terrorism lurks like a deadly cobra, waiting to strike, maim, and destroy. We witness these attacks stemming from outside our borders as well as from within. Our hearts shutter each time we read of an incident with random killing by the hand of a fellow classmate or employee. Resolution of conflict seems far too often to follow a non-peaceful path. The very basic skills of dissolving conflict peacefully seem almost non-existent. Violence is often the end result that plays itself out in our neighborhoods daily. Our economy, each day, follows a dizzy up-down roller coaster type ride. The money markets of the world govern daily the destruction of lives that have made money an idol and based their lives on its foundation. Greed has ruled our lives as we build “bigger and better mousetraps” in a never ending search to satisfy an insatiable appetite. We often live with increasing desire to acquire more and more. We choose this lifestyle fully aware that so many barely are able to sustain daily life for themselves and their families. We have even mismanaged the use of our time. While the boy next door with an absentee father wishes for someone to play ball with, we excuse ourselves and run for the next gismo or trinket to busy ourselves with. Many times we fill the space of our lives with everything imaginable (and some that is unimaginable), avoiding the emptiness of time. At this same point, we excuse ourselves from the thoughts of responsibility to reach out and help others. We have sat idle and handed the government larger and larger pieces of the management of our collective and private lives. The result is that the government has evolved from a point of being a government for the people to a government that seems far removed from the people. We pay our hard earned dollars in ever increasing taxes to a government that often attempts to intrude further and further into our private everyday lives. Truly we relinquish our own responsibility in the process. I believe we each are called to a threshold where we must stop, evaluate, comprehend that the time is now for our individual lives to change. Our communities, nation and world exist in an hour that demands radical change. We have teetered ever so closely toward a disastrous edge of existence. While wrapped in a smug sense of false security, we have ignored the signs before us. Definitely change is called for. But not change for change’s sake. The times require a return to principles held to be true. Tried, tested precepts that have turned the tides of history are needed to bring restoration. A return to living individually and collectively as a united nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. The time is not yesterday with all our greatness of history. The time is now. The urgent call reaches beyond our shores throughout the world. The future lies before each and every person to live each moment of life in a fuller dimension. We are called to live compassionately, redeeming the land and the quality of each person’s life. As we strive to live in this manner the redemption of our existence hangs in the balance. The challenge is before us. We have come so far and that we may go on and continue to go forward. It is my hope and prayer that each individual live daily in the recognition of the signs that surround us and that we each respond and take an active role in molding our future. Cherie Wagner Pleasant Valley, NY A Timely Prophecy House of Cards Falling In mid-December, the Spirit of the Lord moved upon my heart and spoke to me, “Man’s house of cards is about to fall down at his feet and I do have a prepared people who are ready to build and to plant My Kingdom in the earth in a measure that no man has seen heretofore. Those who have been watering and bringing illumination (shining upon). My precious plants will now find themselves harvesting. “I am taking My Body, whom I have fashioned in My Own likeness, and I am forming them into a new threshing instrument with teeth. They will take the ways of man and beat them small and cause them to blow away by the Wind of My Spirit. “Fear not anything that comes that seems to be a hardship to the people, or a darkening of the earth, but know that I am moving in many ways to shake mankind out of his satisfaction with his own ways, that he will open his eyes and look for a better way. And, My people, you shall show forth the better way, the way of My rule in the earth, for man’s kingdoms have held sway and brought forth vanity and heatache, and My creation remains in its bondage. “My seventh-day rest has come and I shall cause the earth to cease her struggle to show herself as god and to bring forth righteousness. My Own Arm shall save. My Own Arm shall deliver. The earth shall see My willing people in the day of My power. Rejoice to see this day!” Elaine Cook Volume 2 Number 2 — The Town Crier — February, 2001 Page 3 Letters The letter below was enclosed in a card with the following message: “‘Blessed be the Lord, for He has shown me His marvelous love.’ Psalm 31:21. Whenever I need you, you are there, a hug, a smile, a silent prayer. Whenever I need you, you are there, a gift of tender, loving care. Giving thanks for the much-needed blessing of you!” Dear Debbie, I did get this card when I was there [at Piecemakers] one time. It is perfect to send to my dear Piecemaker friends. I don’t know how I would have made it through this last year without your support, and kindness. I do believe that God brought me to Piecemakers. It is a safe place for me. I love you all very much and think about you daily. Thank you for everything. I will see you soon. Love, Lucretia Words cannot convey our many thanks to this Piecemaker family for sharing both Thanksgiving and Christmas with us. We both felt the true spirit of these holidays. Readable Quote The Chism Trail — by Shivaun Chism From an article entitled “Framers Guaranteed Right to Bear Arms to Defend Against Tyranny”, by Walter E. Williams, Insight on the News Magazine — February 19, 2001. During last week’s Senate confirmation hearings, Sen. Edward Kennedy laid into President Bush’s attorney-general nominee John Ashcroft about his strong support for the U.S. Constitution’s second Amendment. Kennedy demanded that Ashcroft apologize to the American people For what did Kennedy think Ashcroft should apologize? In a speech, Ashcroft said that the reason the Framers demanded a constitutional protection for “the right of the people to keep and bear arms” was to provide a measure of protection against tyranny in government. Kennedy demonstrated gross ignorance about the founding of our nation... Let’s you and I look at the Framers’ words to see whether they gave us the Second Amendment so we could go deer and duck hunting or, as Ashcroft said, to protect against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson said: “No man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” “And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. ...The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” James Madison said, “The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...[where] the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” Tench Coxe said: “Congress [has] no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and ever other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American. ...The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.” Noah Webster said, “The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops.” George Washington said, “Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence.” Volume 2 Number 2 — The Town Crier — Page 4 February, 2001 The U.S. Holocaust A New Contest! Any government or human being who will deprive another human being from making a living, subjects him to a death worse than murder and more abominable than the German holocaust, for the death is as real but more anguish is involved. Any facet of the U.S. Government, from the IRS to the DMV to OSHA to the Health Department to the city officials, that would subject any business to their unreasonable code books is guilty of this crime. The citizens of the U.S. are being subjected to codes and laws that strangle the lifeblood from the fabric of America. Time after time people would like to start a little business, but by the time the government puts them through the bureaucratic hoops, all incentive and dreams are gone. This is the year of our Lord – one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine – and we all are ensnared like the white people ensnared the black people with their wicked hearts. Now we ALL are subjected to the same tyranny. “If I Were President” Prize: $50.00 for best article Submit an essay of 100 words or more giving your plan for America if you were elected president. We stand ready to be judged in the Valley of Jehoshaphat. God has heard the cry of the victims and will avenge America with fire against all who practice iniquity. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” another Chism Trail! 2 Chronicles 7:14 Definitions Democracy: government by the people, majority rules. The persecution of the blacks was a majority ruling of a democracy. Bureaucracy (not in the original Webster’s dictionary): an unyielding administrative system burdened with excessive complexity and lack of flexibility. Capital: having reference to or involving the forfeiture of the head of life; anything that can be used to increase one’s power or influence. We have forfeited our head in America. Our head should e God, the Father of our country instead of a president, party or system of government. Capitalism: an economic system in which capital and capitalists play the principal part. Capitalist (the word comes from the British): a person of large property. Plutocracy: government by the wealthy — the fruit ends up the same as communism or capitalism — the wealthy and the poor. Republic: one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. “David and Goliath” Update The Chism Trail — by Shivaun Chism On February 8, 2001, we appeared in small claims court before Judge Elaine Streger. The Orange County cockroach farm had taken us to court because we refused to get a permit for food sold in our store that was already permitted. I call it a cockroach farm, for I have heard they raise cockroaches to plant in kitchens owned by people who will not pay them or bow down to their edicts, as we suspect they planted in our kitchen. After explaining to the judge that our food was already permitted she withheld judgment until she could further investigate. When asked if she would use the Constitution or Bible as her basis for judgment she said, “I have sworn to uphold the Constitution.” We will see. To be continued... ```````````````` Our suit against inspectors Newe and Freeman is still pending. We want no money, only that they are both fired and pay our court costs. 1720 Adams Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Email: [email protected] Phone: (714) 641–3112 Fax: (714) 641–2883 Website: http://www.piecemakers.com Country Store Piecemakers PRESORTED STANDARD U.S. Postage Paid Permit No. 1788 Santa Ana, CA 92799 ® 1720 Adams Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 TO: l l a h s h ! t u r e e T r f e Th you set
