Frankfort Meal Packing Event | Saturday, December 3, 2016
Location: Camp Manitoqua in Frankfort, IL | Time: 10am - 2pm
For the 2nd year in a row, a mobile OneMeal food-packing event is coming to
Frankfort this coming December 3, 2016 and families will come together for a unique
and rewarding opportunity to meet the needs of starving children around the world.
This event is much like Feed My Starving Children but the organization, Kids Around
the World, comes to us. Meals are packed in an assembly line style by many
volunteers and then the packaged food is shipped and distributed to trusted partners
to ensure the food reaches hungry children in great need of our help.
With OneMeal, 25¢ goes a long way - covering everything from raw ingredients,
packing equipment, packing materials, staff time, storage, domestic and international
shipping to clearing customs in most countries.
The goal is to pack 60,000 meals for children in need.

1. DONATE: Fundraising is crucial for our event to happen. We rely on generous
donations to be able to pay for the ingredients to make these meals. A little goes a
long way - one quarter (.25 cents) provides one nutritious meal. Donations can be

2. VOLUNTEER: These meals won't get packed without your help. Once you’ve
donated at the link above, if you're available on December 3rd, please join us!
**Kids are welcome and encouraged to participate! However, your children must
be five and older to attend. Please email [email protected] if you are
interested in volunteering to help pack these meals.
3. SPREAD THE WORD: In the coming months, more information about how to sign
