B.E.S.T. CRAZY DAYS OF JUNE 2017
Welcome to the CRAZY DAYS OF JUNE 2017.
As you can see, we will be very busy with all kinds of special events, including Graduation Ceremonies. Please
disregard the Crazy Day theme on your child’s scheduled Graduation Day.
Graduations are scheduled for the week of June 5th – 9th.
THURSDAY, JUNE 1st - SPORTS DAY:
Have your child wear their favorite team shirt, hat or colors. Children can bring in sports cards or equipment to
share with the class. If they are on a soccer or baseball team, let them wear their uniform. It’s sure to be a
sporting day!
FRIDAY, JUNE 2nd - BEACH PARTY LUAU & ITALIAN ICE DAY:
On this day, all children should come to school in their bathing suits, hula skirts or Hawaiian shirts. Don't forget to
bring a beach towel. Uncle Luigi’s Italian Ices will bring their cart and each child will get a tasty Italian Ice!

MONDAY, JUNE 5th - HAPPY HOLIDAY DAY:
Let’s celebrate your favorite holiday! You can dress like an orange pumpkin for Halloween, wear some green
shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day or red hearts for Valentine’s Day, be a Christmas elf, a cute Easter bunny hopping
in for a visit or dress for any holiday that makes you happy!!
TUESDAY, JUNE 6th - CARTOON CHARACTER DAY:
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Cartoon Character Day! Today is the day to dress up with something from your
favorite cartoon character like Superman, Batman, Scooby Doo, Mickey or Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, Bugs Bunny or
Sponge Bob, (just to name a few)!
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7th - YIPPIE HIPPIE DAY:
Let’s all tip-toe through the tulips! Yes, on this day the 60’s are back! Find those floral prints and tie dyes for your
kids to wear with pride. Any kind of flower will do. If you don’t have any floral prints, cut out some paper flowers
and let your imagination run wild. We’ll be rockin’ and rollin’ in the gym and having a real groovy time!
THURSDAY, JUNE 8th - WINTER WONDERLAND DAY:
BRRR…Baby its cold outside…in June??? Bundle up with gloves, hats and scarves and get ready for our winter
projects and activities. We’ll be having silly sleigh rides, snow ball fights and a special frosty treat!
FRIDAY, JUNE 9th - CRAZY HAT OR HAIR & INSIDE-OUT DAY:
On Crazy Hat/Hair Day each child should wear their own "crazy hat" to school that they have or just created at
HOME. If you don’t want to wear a hat, just make your hair crazy looking. Spike it, crimp it, curl it, make funny
ponytails, use colored gels,…just be crazy! Each class will parade around to show off their crazy fashion styles.
Also, for this crazy day wear your clothes inside out! It is truly a crazy, silly, inside out and backwards day!
MONDAY, JUNE 12th – PIRATES & PRINCESS DAY:
Here Ye Royal Princesses and Pirate Buccaneers! On this Enchanting day of wild and magical fun your child should
come to school dressed up as an Enchanting Princess or a Swashbuckling Pirate! It will be a Royally Fun Day!
ARRR…Props are OK but, PLEASE: no guns or weapons of any kind.
TUESDAY, JUNE 13th - HEE HAW DAY:
Howdy Partner! Get out those cowboy hats and western clothes for Hee-Haw Day! Swing your partner round as we
learn some square dancing! Have your child come dressed in some country clothes (jeans, overalls, bandanas, etc.)
Cowboys and Indians welcome! (Please: No guns or weapons of any kind.)
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14th - RED, WHITE & BLUE DAY:
Let the fireworks begin. All children should wear Red, White & Blue for the colors of our American Flag.
We will be celebrating Flag Day and Independence Day (a little early!)
THURSDAY, JUNE 15th - FIELD DAY:
All classes will be participating in a day filled with lots of running and games. Please make sure your child wears
comfortable clothing. Sneakers are a must! Please send a cold water bottle for your little athlete!
We are sorry that we cannot have parents or visitors present for field day for safety reasons.

All classes will be participating in a day filled with lots of running and games. Please make sure your child wears
comfortable clothing. Sneakers are a must! Please send a cold water bottle for your little athlete!

Our Dance/Movement/Music Teacher will be The Field Day Director. She will have all of the equipment and is in
charge of coordinating and running all of the activities.
Activities may Include: Baton Relay Races, The Pinocchio Race (Ball pushed with nose), Obstacle Course, Feather
Blowing Race, Block Relay, Potato Sack Race (3’s & 4’s), Egg on a Spoon, The 3 legged race (3’s & 4’s), Ice Cream
Cone Race and Scooter Races (3’s & 4’s)! There will be Games, Dancing and our Moon Bouncer in the gym!
