POSITION SUMMARY
The Research Scientist will be responsible, for the design and execution of experiments for the development of
current and future diagnostic assays/instrumentation. This includes lab work, data analysis, and assay design.
In addition he/she will be responsible for generating ideas pertaining to future assays and technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
 Experimental design and execution
 Meeting deadlines and driving projects forward
 Interpret scientific results and provide recommendation for moving forward
 Idea generation to improve existing technology and drive future technology
 Additional duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
 5+ years of laboratory experience
 1+ years in an industry setting (Preferred)

 This hire will slowly move into a role of increasing responsibility as the company expands

EDUCATION:
 BS/MS/PhD in biochemistry or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
