It has been nearly 14 years since the events of September
11th, 2001, destroyed the Twin Towers in New York City.
But now, after 11 years, the buildings’ replacement has
opened in lower Manhattan.
One World Trade Center, or the “Freedom Tower,” is now
the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the
fourth tallest building in the world.
The video above shows the construction project from start
to finish in just two minutes, and it may just bring a tear to
your eye.
