Ladies, are you interested in a new opportunity for spiritual
growth. Fr. Orr will offer and Evening of Recollection for Women
at 7 pm Monday, May 1. Is your life to busy and crazy? Is it hard
to get to confession? Do you need quiet time with Our Lord?
Want to have spiritual fellowship? This evening will provide
exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, examination of conscience,
the sacrament of reconciliation, personal prayer, and a short talk
on virtue. After the recollection and adoration time we will meet
in the parish hall for refreshments. For more information, please

May 2nd An Evening of Recollection consists of the Exposition
of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, examination of
conscience, the sacrament of reconciliation, personal prayer, and
a meditation based on the writings of St. Josemaría or the Gospel
reading of the day to help men practice their faith in the ordinary
circumstances of their lives. A short talk on virtue and light
refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parish Hall. For

National Collection for Catholic Home

Education. Your investment in the future of the
priesthood is one that will help guarantee the
growth of the Catholic faith in East Tennessee.
Pastoral Juvenil Concert: Join us for this
amazing concert for youth/young adults sponsored
by Cristo Rey ministry in collaboration with the
Pastoral Juvenil Hispana Diocesan ministry. The
concert will in the gym at Sacred Heart
Cathedral,
April 29th from noon until 9
PM. Hear great music from Jon Carlo, El Coro El
Sembrador, El Ministerio de Alabanza-Jesús el
Rey Divino. The Catholic preacher, Rafael Diaz,
will be joining us from Los Angeles to share his
testimony. This concert will be in Spanish and is
for the whole family. Youth must come
accompanied by a parent. The cost is $10/person
or $25/family. Food is available for sale. For

Our new study session begins Wed., April 19th, at
6 pm in the Marion Hall. It will be on “Pivotal
Players in the Catholic Church”. (DVDs and
workbook used.)

Join us at 7 pm on Thursdays, we pray the Holy
Rosary at the Church Grotto. In case of rain, we
use the Church.
Join us downstairs after the 10 am Mass for our
4th Sunday pot-luck. Bring a dish and enjoy a meal
with your fellow parishioners.
5th Sunday: April 30 at First United Methodist
Church Madisonville. Covered dish supper at 5:45
PM & worship service at 7 PM. The choir will be
presenting the Easter cantata "Amazing Love".
Please make plans to attend!
On Saturday, June 10th, 2017, the Office of
Marriage Preparation & Enrichment will host a
facilitator training workshop for the Catholic
Compass Ministries program “Navigating Your
Finances God’s Way.” The training will be will
be from 9 am until noon at St. John Neumann
Parish in Knoxville. This program is available in
both English and Spanish. A potential facilitator
should be a person who is interested in mentoring
couples or individuals through the process of
healthy financial practices. Spanish speakers
should be bilingual as the training will be in
English. Our goal is to help people learn more
about handling their personal finances, move
through financial debt into a place of solvency and
help alleviate financial stress in marriages. To
