Celebrates Tenth Anniversary,
Recognizes Eight Employees for
Ten Years of Service
St. Louis, Mo., May 16, 2012– The Business Bank of St. Louis is
celebrating the tenth anniversary of its founding today by
recognizing 27 employees for 5-9 years of service and eight
employees for 10 years of service. The eight employees with ten
years of service to the bank include Stan Cornish, Debbie Keating,
Tim Main, Maria Miller, Terri Mills, founder David Mishler, Laurie
Pennycook, and Ruth Stone.
The bank was started by a team of investors and bankers on May
16, 2002 with $10.5 million in capital and has grown to more than
$518 million in assets at the end of 2011. Operating from a single
location at 8000 Maryland Avenue in Clayton, Missouri, The
Business Bank serves small and medium-size businesses and their owners with a full range of lending,
deposit and private banking services.

employees, especially those who have been with us from the start," said Larry Kirby, CEO and President of
The Business Bank. "Ten years ago these professionals made a commitment to help this bank grow and

Four of the bank's board of directors have also been involved since the bank's inception. They include
Andrew Brown, H. Meade Summers III, Edward Throop, and Helmut Weber.
