Driving instructions to Grand Isla Navidad Resort From Guadalajara / Colima We recommend taking toll road 54D Guadalajara-Colima. Stay on 54D , which becomes highway 110 from the city of Colima. Continuing on highway 110, upon reaching the town of Armería, the nomenclature changes to highway 200 D . Follow the signs to continue to Manzanillo. At the entrance to Manzanillo you will find a junction. One road leads to Downtown Manzanillo and the other is highway 200 (without D) which goes around the port and leads to Isla Navidad. We recommend this latter option as a direct route. It is a toll-free road. Continue on highway 200 towards Barra de Navidad. You will pass by the University of Colima campus, “El Naranjo”, a Pemex gas station, “La Central” and the Manzanillo International Airport intersection. Down the road you will drive by the towns of “El Chavarín” and “Río Marabasco”. At this latter one you will find a bridge sign that reads “Termina Colima, Bienvenidos a Jalisco” (Colima Ends, Welcome to Jalisco). At the end of the bridge you will arrive to the town of Cihuatlán. Continue on the same route (200). Take the alternate road towards Barra de Navidad on the left. Exit this road after 2.6 miles. As a reference you will pass by a Coca-Cola bottling facility on your right-hand side. Turn left after exiting the road . Follow the signs that direct you towards Barra de Navidad. Continue on road 200 for a 5-mile drive. On your left-hand side you will identify a huge Isla Navidad billboard located on top of a small hill. Slow down, turn left and leave road 200 . Also on the left, you will identify a white “Protección Civil” (Civil Defense) booth and a road sign to “La Culebra”. Take this road. A final 3-mile drive will get you through a short and very narrow bridge. Continue for another couple of minutes and you will arrive to the entrance arches of the Isla Navidad Development. At the security booth you will be given instructions on how to get to the Grand Isla Navidad Resort. Welcome! From Puerto Vallarta Take highway 200 Puerto Vallarta-Manzanillo. Along the way you will pass by some major towns and points of interest such as Tomatlán, Chamela, Careyes, El Tamarindo and Melaque. After Melaque continue on highway 200 towards Barra de Navidad. Upon reaching the intersection that leads to Barra de Navidad and Jaluco, drive straight ahead on highway 200 towards Manzanillo.
