Sakis Minovgioudis - Alblasserdam (NL) at the top thanks to Ludo Claessens.
Alblasserdam, situated on one of the busiest navigated rivers of West-Europe, is the residence of Sakis Minovgioudis. This,
originating from Greece Epicurean, has been noticed over the last few years for his marvellous racing, especially with the
widow hens.
The game with the hens totally suits Sakis. The basis of these successes lies in him investing in a marvellous collection of
direct and pure Ludo Claessens-pigeons .
Not only the birds from Ludo Claessens have been instrumental here. Also his years of friendship with the grandmaster
from Putte was instrumental in his (pigeon) career. Sakis can talk for hours, and with full respect, about the nice moments
he has enjoyed together with Ludo Claessens. He’s never come across anyone else in the pigeon sport who is so professional
as Ludo. It is therefore very sad that this expert has stopped with the pigeon sport. Sakis is therefore carefully trying to
continue the life’s work of Ludo, and for this reason he has hardly crossed any new pigeons with these birds over the last
few years.
The absolute stock hen is the NL03-1272712 “Meeuwke 12”, this hen comes out the “Supercrack 69” x “Golden White”.
She is then a full sister of the “Yeti” and a half-sister of the “Jonge Supercrack”. No less than 15 first prize winners come
directly from “Meeuwke 12”

When Ludo Claessens visited Sakis in his lofts in 2004 he was so impressed with this hen “Meeuwke 12” that he wanted to
buy her back. Sakis didn’t want to part with his favourite hen. Instead of a sale, it was agreed that they would joint breed in
2005………
Ludo then coupled one of his top cocks, namely “Favoriet 65” against “Meeuwke 12”.

The NL06-1062155 won self 33x prize (wherefrom 27x 1:10) and was also 1st Ace pigeon Youngsters 2006 in the club. Her
best prize is the 2nd prize from Strombeek against 1.739 pigeons after a loft companion. “The 155” comes out the couple
“Pure Gold” (brother 03 Claessens x Meeuwke 12) X “Blois II”(Grote Donkere x Sister Bo Jangles). However, he is of
much greater value in the breeding lofts .
