1. How does the amplitude of a trig function affect the appearance
of its graph?
2. How do we determine the numbers on the tickmarks that we put
on our x-axis?
3. How do we find the new starting point and new ending point for
one period of a sine or cosine function? Why?

Warm Up:
1.The amplitude determines the distance above and the distance below the midline of a trigonometric function's graph
2. Take the period (the distance x axis for one cycle to complete... from point 1 to point 5 of the five key points) and divide by 4. Take the quotient and add it to the new starting point. Add up by that same increment until you reach point 5.
3. Take (bx­c) and set equal to 0 for the new start because the generic sine or cosine function starts at x=0 (we want to capture the changes that happened to determine new start point)
Take (bx­c) and set equal to 2pi for the new end because the generic sine or cosine function ends at x= 2pi
