Notice is hereby given that Southampton City Council,
with the consent of Hampshire County Council, intend
to make the above Order.
Effect of the Order
To revise the charges in the off-street car parks as
follows:
1. Blue code car parks
Charges (as existing:
30p, 1 hour.
60p, 2 hours.
Maximum stay, 2 hours.
Existing car parks: Bargate Street, Portland Street, The
Strand.
Additional car parks: Albion Place, Castle Way.
2. Green code car parks
Existing charges:
20p, H hours.
40p, 3 hours.
Proposed charges:
25p, H hours.
50p, 3 hours.
Maximum stay, 3 hours.
Existing car parks: Civic Centre Road, Commercial
Road, Havelock Road, Hill Lane, Lower Banister
Street, Marlands (South), Northam Road (Bridge
Tavern), Northam Street, Queens Terrace, Wyndham
Place, Kingsfield Road, Marlands (North).
Additional car parks: Bedford Place, Lime Street.
3. Grey code car park—St. Mary Street (south)

6. Brown code car parks
Existing charges:

20p all day.
Proposed charges:
lOp, 2 hours.
40p all day.
Car parks: Colonnade, Oakbank Road, Portsmouth
Road and Crosshouse Road.
7. Red code.car parks—Mayflower Park
Unchanged at lOp for 2 hours.
8. White code car parks (Saturdays only)
Municipal forecourt and Guildhall unchanged at 30p for
2 hours. 60p for 4 hours.
9. Season tickets
(a) Gold, silver and bronze season tickets will remain
unchanged.
(b) Black season tickets will no longer be available.
(c) Green season tickets will replace the Woolston season
ticket and will be available for use in all brown
code car parks. The charge will be £24 for 3 months
and £80 for 12 months.
Further details
A copy of the draft Order, a plan showing the car
parks affected and a statemeent of the Council's reasons
for proposing to make the Order, are 'available for
inspection in Room 18 of my office during normal working
hours.
Objections
Objections, stating die grounds on which they are made,
must be sent in writing to me at the address below by
31st October 1983.

The City of Southampton (Off Street Parking Places')
(Amendment No. 4) Order 1983
Notice is hereby given that Southampton City Council,
pursuant to arrangements made with Hampshire County
Council, propose to make the above Orders.
Effect of the Orders
(1) To extend the existing lorry park hi West Quay
Road to incorporate approximately 2,450 square metres
of the adjacent West Quay Road car park. This
will accommodate approximately 17 additional lorries.
(2) To amend the provisions of the Lorry Park Order
to enable the lorry park to be used by cars in connection with occasional Park and Ride schemes.
Further Details: Copies of the draft Orders together
with a plan showing the effect of the Orders and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the
Orders are available for inspection in Room 18 of my
office during normal working hours.
