Egypt has set a national strategy to spread technology parks across its governorates building on its value proposition that includes large scalable talent pool, well-established nationwide Internet and telecom network, government belief and support to ICT, and accumulated park experience in the past two decades. The ultimate targets are to build ecosystems to be nodes and lighthouses for ICT development and to pull the economy of these governorates leading to better life for all citizens across Egypt. Accumulated experience has proven that the government should take the lead in such projects to prove of concept encouraging the private sector to partner in a Public-Private Partnership model where the private sector to mainly invest, build, operate, and hopefully replicate the whole model. The project achieves its developmental goals in a feasible financial and sustainable model by: o Integrating intensive-labor businesses with businesses that offer rewarding financial returns and thus setting a better lifestyle for the employees and citizens. o Presenting high-standard high-revenue-generating services. o Collaborating with the right national and international partners to run non-core side businesses.
