Mid-Market District!
Our renovation of The Strand Theater
marks an important moment in San
Francisco history, given the many efforts
to reinvigorate the Mid-Market District
so that it’s a place to see and be seen.
The building has lived through many
decades of change, and the mixture of
modern and historic elements is sure
to contribute to a unique experience of
this vibrant neighborhood.
In spring of 2015, when A.C.T. reopens
the doors of The Strand, it will offer a
dynamic, versatile, and intimate complex
to the public. The Strand includes a
283-seat theater, an additional 120-seat
event and performance space, and a
welcoming lobby and café that will be
open during the day. Whether you’re
planning a wedding reception or a
multi-day conference, The Strand’s
many amenities, ranging from audiovisual equipment rentals to full bar and
beverage service, is sure to contribute
to an unforgettable experience.
