INGREDIENTS FOR 8 PORTIONS
PREPARATION
· 2 large eggs
· 150 g plain flour
· 400 g milk
· ¼ tsp fine sea salt
· ¼ tsp ground black pepper
· 4 tsp lard or goose fat
1 Preheat oven to 230°C.
2 Place eggs, flour, milk, salt and pepper in mixing bowl then mix
15 sec/speed 6. Leave to rest for at least 30 minutes.
3 Place ½ tsp lard in 8 holes of a Yorkshire pudding or muffin tin then place tin in
hot oven for 5 minutes (230°C).
4 Carefully remove tin from oven then pour batter into holes in tin. Place tin in
oven and bake for 15-20 minutes (230°C) until brown and well risen. Serve hot.

VARIATION
· To make one large Yorkshire pudding rather than individual ones, pour into a
large oven-proof dish and bake for 30-40 minutes (230°C) in step 4.
