Are there areas of your life, or in your job, in which you cling to your own reputation and good works? Reverend Jane E. Vennard will be exploring the subjects of God's grace as it appears in our work, and how we can draw upon God's store of grace from day to day, at the Mile High Chapter's next meeting on Friday morning, January 11, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church. Rev. Vennard is the Louise Warren Iliff Senior Adjunct Faculty in Prayer and Spirituality at the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, on the University of Denver campus. She earned her B.A. from Wellesley College, her M.A. from Stanford University and her M.Div. from San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ. In addition to Iliff, Rev. Vennard has taught at the Pacific School of Religion, Vancouver School of Theology, Columbia Seminary and GarrettEvangelical Theological Seminary. She is also a regular faculty presenter with The Upper Room Academy for Spiritual Formation, teaches classes in a variety of ecumenical settings, leads retreats internationally, and is the author of numerous articles and six books.
