Custom Rubber Stamp Process:
Black and white line drawing scanned at a minimum of 300 dpi and submitted to Sweet Stampen. The
work should be clean… no unintended spots.
If the artwork is not clean enough, we will notify you. If we have to clean it for you, there is a service
charge.
The smallest plate we offer is a 5” x 7”. The largest is an 8.5” x 12.5”. You may place as many images
within that space as possible. Please leave a half inch boundary for us to add a dam around your
artwork (to prevent rubber from pouring out into our machines). Example: If your art piece measures
5” x 7”, you will be charged for a 5.5” x 7.5” plate to allow the dam.
We turn your art into an engraving (negative) made of metal. From that, we press a mold (positive)
from an asbestos free material. Then we add our food safe rubber to the mold to make yet another
negative image…your final sheet of food safe rubber stamps.

Engraving costs fluctuate. Please email us for the latest price list.
The rubber for a 5” x 7” plate runs 15.00.
The rubber sheet for an 8.5” x 12.5” is 30.00. Feel free to ask for a quote for your specific size. If you
do not require food safe stamps, wood mounting is available. See chart below for pricing.
Shipping the rubber is additional and billed based on weight. We do allow customers to share plates to
keep costs down.

You may also wish to order a few items from our line to make stamping on your food totally safe and

 Our proprietary food color, Stamp Pad Black, will not dry out a stamp pad.
 Our stamp pads are made from food grade felt.






Wood Mounting:
We also make custom stamps to be wood mounted. Wood mounting prices are based on size. Your
stamp must fit easily onto the wood block. There is an additional mounting surcharge because we have
to press your image twice in order to index it on the wood.
Please note: Wood mounted stamps are NOT food safe but, we often get requests for rubber images
to match a logo or a craft stamp to make matching invitations.
