Anne Frank - The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman, dramatically captures the horrible realities that eight people undergo while hiding from the Nazis. This powerful new version of the tender and lovely play tells a deeper story about Anne Frank (Mollie Rodgers), a young gifted girl who shares her horror with honesty, wit, and determination. Whether you are twelve or eighty, the lovely spirit of this young girl, now deceased, filters down through the years and can capture and inspire your heart. Directed by Sarah LaFantasie (who played Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker), the cast includes FCT veteran actors, Carrie Parsons as Mrs. Frank, Gary Parsons as Mr. Frank, Jack Seeley (Mr. Van Daan), Sherry Bendt (Mrs. Van Daan), Brandon Dawson (Mr. Kraler), and Joe Bersack (Mr. Dusssel). New to FCT are Hannah Morris who plays Margot Frank, Anne's older sister, Jacob Printz as Peter Van Daan, and Caroline Clymer as Miep. Auditions for Annie Audition Dates: Friday, January 28th 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Teens older than 14 and Adults only Saturday, January 29th 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM Children 14 and below Saturday, January 29th 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM Teens older than 14 and Adults only Sunday, January 30th 4:30 PM Call backs if necessary Audition Requirements: Please prepare 16 bars of a song from a Broadway show other than Annie and also be prepared to learn and perform choreography. Musical Theatre Class Students will spend 6 weeks studying musical theatre and acting techniques while building confidence and self-discovery. Some topics include: "How to Audition for a Musical," Acting for the Song, Sight Reading, Diction and Back Stage Etiquette. Miss Jen always throws in surprises too!! We will end our class with a cabaret style performance to show our parents what we've been working on! Mondays January 10 - February 21 (There will be no class on 2/14) 6:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. 6 weeks $125 Ages 7 and up Must have a minimum of 6 participants Register Online Using a variety of approaches, methods and techniques, ouracting classes provide students with concentrated work in basic acting techniques, improvisation, character development, scene work, monologue study, stage direction, script analysis. Acting classes are geared to the strengths and weaknesses, as we celebrate these in each other. Students should expect at home study and rehearsal as memorization is a requirement in all performances classes. Instructor Miss Jen's nurturing and charismatic personality inspires and challenges her students to excel. Miss Jen brings with her an extensive background in theatre as a professional actress.
