Anne Frank
-
The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, and newly
adapted by Wendy Kesselman, dramatically captures the horrible realities that
eight people undergo while hiding from the Nazis. This powerful new version of
the tender and lovely play tells a deeper story about Anne Frank (Mollie
Rodgers), a young gifted girl who shares her horror with honesty, wit, and
determination. Whether you are twelve or eighty, the lovely spirit of this young
girl, now deceased, filters down through the years and can capture and inspire
your heart.
Directed by Sarah LaFantasie (who played Annie Sullivan in The Miracle
Worker), the cast includes FCT veteran actors, Carrie Parsons as Mrs. Frank,
Gary Parsons as Mr. Frank, Jack Seeley (Mr. Van Daan), Sherry Bendt (Mrs.
Van Daan), Brandon Dawson (Mr. Kraler), and Joe Bersack (Mr. Dusssel).
New to FCT are Hannah Morris who plays Margot Frank, Anne's older sister,
Jacob Printz as Peter Van Daan, and Caroline Clymer as Miep.

students with concentrated work in basic acting techniques, improvisation, character
development, scene work, monologue study, stage direction, script analysis. Acting
classes are geared to the strengths and weaknesses, as we celebrate these in each
other. Students should expect at home study and rehearsal as memorization is a
requirement in all performances classes.
