Stanley B. Goss - Managing Director
As President and Managing Director of the Mastery Group,
Inc., Stan coaches Senior Business Executives. As a professional
coach, he advises business leaders on actions to take as they
create and implement breakthrough managerial and
organizational achievements.
A rich variety of work and life experiences enable Stan to
effectively guide executives in all areas of their professional
development. Stan’s strong leadership characteristics have led
him to consult with executives in a broad range of industries,
including telecommunications, financial services, and energy,
utilities, health care, manufacturing and professional services.
He attended the Colorado School of Mines, Duke University
College of Law and graduated with honors from the University
of Denver with a degree in Business Management. He is also a
Certified Personnel Consultant.
Stan holds Advanced Certification in the Birkman Method, Leadership Effectiveness Analysis and Emotional
Competency Assessment tools. He is also in demand as a speaker on the subjects of Leadership, Executive
Coaching and Emotional Intelligence. He has also participated in the University of Michigan Executive
Development Program “Change the World”, an advanced program on Transformational Change. He has also
received a certificate from the Integral Institute of Colorado in Integral Leadership.

Personal
Stan has been an international leader in working with contemporary men’s issues. He is also deeply
committed to community service and has served on several not-for-profit boards. He serves on the Board of
Governors of the Katy Economic Development Council. He also serves on the Church Council of Grace
Fellowship United Methodist Church as a member of the Pastor Parish Relations Committee. Stan and his
wife of 34 years, Suzi, have six adult children and ten grandchildren.
Awards
Stan was named the Man of the Year by the Carl Jung Center of Houston in 2002, honoring him for the work
he has done on serving men. He is also Leader Emeritus of the Mankind Project, an international men’s
organization.
