Trail head is located near 44 Mile Marker Oh Rt. 7, South of Leith Run Campground.
Ohio View Trail Head
Trail head is located between 48 and 49 mile marker Oh Rt. 7, Beaver Town Ohio.

Primitive Camping
(NO FEE) Between 44 and 45 mile marker Ohio Rt 7, Take Leith Run
Road (Co Rd 21) approx 4 mile to stop sign, go straight on Co Rd 9
approx 2.5 Mile. Turn left on Jackson Run Rd. (T-36) go approx. 2 mile to
top of Hill and down other side, several established sites next 2 miles.
OHIO VIEW TRAIL
Oh Rt. 7 at Beaver Town between 48 & 49 Mile Marker
Option #1 (16 Miles)
Ride as an out and back from Ohio View Trail Head.
Option #2 (18 Miles)
Ride Ohio View Trail approx 6.5 mile to Ohio View Connector Trail go Left approx 1.5 mile
to Co. Rd. 9, go right approx 1.5 mile to Rt. 260, go right approx 1/8 Mile, then Turn Right on Ohio
View Trail 8 Mile back To Start.
Option #3 (17 Miles)
From the Trail Head, Take Rt. 7 North, toward New Matamoras, approx 1.5 miles, then
Take a Left on Sheets Run Rd. (T-22) approx 1 mile. When you reach the Top of the Hill Turn
Right on to Ohio View Trail, and ride for approx 3 miles. Next Turn Left on Ohio View Connector
Trail and continue for approx 1.5 mile to Co Rd. 9. Go Right on Co Rd. 9, approx 1.5 mile to Rt.
260, go right on 260 for approx 1/8 mile. Turn Right on Ohio view Trail. 8 Miles back to Start (Oh
Rt. 7)
Option #4
Ride option #2 or #3 to Co. Rd. 9. When at Co. Rd. 9 Cross Road and continue on Ohio
View Connector trail for 3 miles. At the intersection of Archer Fork Trail go right, when you reach
the top of the hill you will come to Jackson Run Road (T-36). Once here you can go……
Option #4.1 (22 Mile)
Take a Right on Jackson Run Rd (T-36) for an approx 1.5 mile to Co. Rd. 9. Go
Left on Co. Rd. 9 for 1 mile to Rt. 260, and then go right for 1/8 mile. On Right will be the
Ohio View Trail. 8 miles back to start.
Option #4.2 (35 Mile)
Instead of taking a Right on to Jackson Run Rd., Continue up the Steps on the
Archer Fork Loop Trail. Approx 1.5 miles you will take a Left on Irish Run Rd. (T-58). Irish
Run Road for ¼ mile, Take a Right on McCormick Hill Rd (T-410). Continue for approx 1.5
mile to the top of the Hill, go Left on Shays Ridge Rd (T-34) for approx 1/2 mile. Take a
Left on St. Patrick’s Cemetery Rd. (T-411). You will see a Wayne National Forest Sign (at
the Cemetery) Bare Right down dirt road for approx ¼ mile. (Caution next two turns), go
left then in a 100ft, then go Right toward Natural Bridge. In approx 3 miles you will cross
Jackson Run Road (T-36) and climb to an Oil Well Site, continue out double tracks approx
2 miles. Then take a Left on Archer Fork Loop Trail, and follow for approx 2 mile. Go Right
on Ohio View Connector Trail, for 3 miles back to Co. Rd. 9. Take a Left on Co. Rd. 9, go
for approx 1.5 mile to a right on Rt. 260, take 260 for approx 1/8 mile to a Right on Ohio
view Trail. 8 Miles back to Start (Rt. 7, Beaver town).
SCENIC RIVER TRAIL
Oh Rt. 7 near 44 Mile Marker
Option #1 (11 Miles)
Ride up Scenic River Trail approx ½ mile to the intersection of the River Loop Trail. Take
the River Loop Trail approx 7 miles to scenic River Trail. Go right on Scenic River approx 3 miles
back to the Start (Oh Rt. 7).
Option #2 (11 Miles)
Ride up Scenic River Trail approx ½ mile to the intersection of the River Loop Trail. Then
do the rest of Option #1 in Reverse from Intersection of Scenic River Trail, and River Loop Trail.
Option #3 (17 or 21 mile)
Follow option #1 or #2 to Intersection of River Loop Trail and Scenic River Trail on Far
End. Then Continue on Scenic River Trail for 1 mile to Co. Rd. 9. Then go Right on Co. Rd.9 for
approx 2 miles to a Left on to Bell Cemetery Rd (T-421). Continue approx ½ mile to a Left on
North Country Trail. (Be careful not to miss this turn) Continue on North Country Trail approx 2
miles back to Scenic River Trail. Continue 1 mile back to intersection. Take a Left on Scenic River
for 3 Miles back to start.
Or
Take a Right on to River Loop Trail for 7 miles back to Scenic River Trail then take a right at the
intersection, ½ mile back to start.
Option #4 (26 or 34 mile)
Take option #1 or #2 to the far intersection of Scenic River Trail and River Loop Trail.
Here continue on Scenic River 1 mile to Co Rd. 9. Take a Right on Co. Rd. 9 for approx 2 mile to a
left on Bell Cemetery Rd. (T-421) continue approx ½ mile to a right on Archers Fork Loop (Be
careful not to miss this Turn) Continue on approx 3 mile, at top of hill you will cross Jackson Run
Rd. (T-36) go up steps, continue approx 1.5 mile to a left on Irish Run Rd. (T-58). Go approx ¼
mile then take a right on McCormick Hill Rd. (T-410). Continue approx 1.5 mile to a left on Shays
Ridge Rd (T-34). Go Approx ½ mile to a Left on St. Patrick’s Rd. (T-411) you will see a Wayne
National Forest Sign. Go down (T-34) dirt road approx ¼ mile to a left, approx 100ft go right
toward natural Bridge (Be careful not to miss turn) Approx 2 mile past Natural Bridge cross
Jackson Run Rd (T-36) Climb to an oil will site. Continue on double track approx 2 miles. Here
you have 2 options continue straight out Bell Cemetery Rd approx ½ mile to a right on Co. Rd. 9
ride for 2 miles to Scenic River Trail OR take a Right on North Country Trail for 2 miles to Scenic
River Trail. Ride out Scenic River Trail approx 1 mile to intersection Option #1 Go Left on Scenic
River Trail 3 miles back to Start. OR option #2, go Right on River Loop Trail approx 7 mile back to
Scenic River Trail then Right ½ mile to Start, Oh. Rt. 7.
SCENIC RIVER TRAIL
Oh Rt. 7 near 44 Mile Marker
(Approx 24 or 29 Mile)
From Scenic River Trail Head Go North on Rt 7 Toward New Matamoras approx 1 mile to
a left on Leith Run Rd (Co. Rd. 21). Go approx 4 mile to a stop sign go straight on Co. Rd. 9 for
approx 1.5 mile to a left on Ohio View Connector Trail, (If you reach Jackson Run Rd. (T-36) you
have passed the trail) cross stream follow trail approx 3 mile at Archers Fork Trail go right at top of
the hill, cross Jackson Run Rd. (T-36), Climb steps and continue approx 1.5 mile to Irish Run Rd.
(T-58), Go left for approx ¼ mile then Right on McCormick Hill Rd (T-410). Continue on road
approx 1.5 mile to top of hill, take a left on Shays Ridge Road (T-34) go approx ½ mile. Take a left
on St. Patrick’s Rd (T-411) (Wayne National Forest Parking Sign) go to right of Cemetery and
down the dirt road (T-411) (Careful next 2 turns), in approx ¼ mile go left , approx 100 ft. go right
toward Natural Bridge (hard to see intersection), approx 2 mile after Natural Bridge cross Jackson
Run Rd. (T-36) Climb to Oil Well site, continue approx 2 mile on double track to junction of Bell
Cemetery Rd., Archers Fork Trail and north country trail. Continue on road approx ½ mile to a right
on Co. Rd. 9, continue approx 2 mile to scenic river Trail, or Take a Right on North Country Trail
approx 2 miles Scenic River Trail, go approx 1 mile to trail sign.
Option #1
Go left on Scenic River 3 miles back to Start.
Option #2
Go Right on River Loop Trail 7 miles to a right on Scenic River Trail, ½ mile back to start.

SCENIC RIVER – Ohio View Loop
Scenic River Trail Head
(Approx 29 Miles)
Park at the Scenic River Trail Head, Ride up Scenic River ½ mile then turn Left on River
Loop Trail. Take the River Loop Trail for 7 miles to a Left on Scenic River Trail. Go 1 mile to Co.
Rd. 9. Go Right on Co. Rd. 9 for approx 2 mile. Turn Left on Bell Cemetery Rd. (T-421) go for
approx ½ mile to a Right on Archers Fork Trail. (Caution not to miss this turn) Go approx 2 miles to
a Right on Ohio view Connector Trail. Take the Connector for 3 miles to Co. Rd. 9, left on Co. Rd.
9. Travel Co. Rd. 9 for approx 1½ miles to Rt. 260, go right on Rt. 260 for 1/8 mile to a Right on
the Ohio View Trail, 8 miles to Ohio Rt. 7. Take a Right on Rt. 7 South toward Newport. approx 4½
miles back to Start (Scenic River Trail Head). Some have found this route fun in the reverse
direction.
