ALLSTAR KIDS GYMNASTICS
Parent Information Packet
Our Purpose: At ALLSTAR KIDZ we hope to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Our purpose is to develop happy, healthy, confident children. We believe that participation in our
program will greatly increase physical abilities and build self confidence that will last a lifetime!
Our Philosophy: Every child IS a WINNER, regardless of “talent” or “potential.”
We believe that every child can gain from participating in the sport of gymnastics. We believe
that nothing is more important than a child’s self-esteem. We want children to feel good
about themselves, to increase their fitness levels, and to develop social skills and good
habits for a healthy life style through participation in gymnastics
Our Mission: Dream, Believe, Achieve!!! It is our goal to provide the best possible program to
help your child gain self-esteem, overall coordination and skill mastery in a positive and loving
environment through their participation in our gym program.
Our Program: Allstar Kidz Gymnastics program provides gymnastics instruction in a fun, safe,
and progressive learning environment. Our instructors teach motor development to tots, school
age and teens. Fundamental skills are taught on the Olympic events Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor
from beginning up though level 5 gymnastics. Our class curriculum is governed by the USA
gymnastics compulsory routines. Our Tumblebear gym program provides 3-6 year olds an added
element of learning
Basic units of activity will include gymnastics to develop total body awareness, strength
and coordination in addition to introducing basic gymnastics skills, safety falls and equipment
orientation. We also include some eye/hand and eye/foot coordination and visual tracking for
other sports purposes.
We measure performance in gymnastics by breaking skills down into achievable steps. It
is the accomplishment of these lead-up skills that help children experience success early and
often, making them feel like winners.
