Conditionals 0 and 1
if + present simple, present simple
If I do my homework, my mum is happy.
(Every time I do my homework, my mum is happy.)
If we watch a DVD, we usually eat pizza.
(Most of the time, when we watch a DVD, we eat pizza.)
Σχηματίζουμε τον first conditional (conditional 1) ως εξής:
if + present simple, will + infinitive
•Χρησιμοποιούμε τον first conditional για να μιλήσουμε
If I do my homework tonight, my mum will be happy.
If we watch a DVD tonight, we will eat pizza.
If I do my homework tonight, my mum will be happy.
My mum will be happy if I do my homework tonight.
If I don’t do my homework, my mum gets angry.
If I don’t do my homework tonight, my mum will get angry.
If I do my homework ... (not If I will do my homework ...)

Present simple passive
Σχηματίζουμε την παθητική φωνή των ρημάτων με το ρήμα be (am, is, are) και το past participle του ρήματος.
At school, lessons are held, tests are written and homework is given.
Mobile phones are stolen every day. (We don’t know who steals them.)
These cars are made in Germany. (It is clear that the car manufacturer makes them.)
Tests are marked by the head teacher.

Past simple passive
Χρησιμοποιούμε το ρήμα be στον past simple (was, were) και το past participle
Yesterday, our tests were marked by our teacher.

‘Was he invited to the wedding?’ ‘Yes, he was. / No, he wasn’t.’
‘Were all the children given presents?’ ‘Yes, they were. / No, they weren’t.’
