Easy and Effective

Easy and Effective
For decades, magnetic treatment of water has been shown to reduce the hardness caused
primarily by calcium and magnesium. Water treatment magnets can prevent deposits of
minerals on the inside of the pipe walls, and descale the existing buildup of solids. Although
treatment begins when the magnets are installed, descaling can take as long as six months
in heavily crusted pipes.
Unlike conventional water softener methods which invoke treating water with sodium, magnetic
water treatment is a one-time installation, has little to no maintenance
and can cost significantly less over time. The resulting magnetized
water is softer and cleaner.
WTM4
Water treatment magnets are specifically designed
for installation on various pipe sizes from .25 to
8 inches in diameter. They can be used on copper,
lead, plastic, or steel pipes, and can be applied directly
to a pipe or housed in a more marketable enclosure.

Installation Tips:
•Select the water treatment magnet for
pipe size (see table on other side)

•Secure the water treatment magnet(s)
with the magnet side touching the pipe
•Water flow should run from north pole to
south pole. This is marked on the magnet.
The magnets should
be installed on the
pipe between the
main valve and the
water heater.

Small Pipe Water Treatment Magnet
The WTMLM50P water treatment magnet is for all copper or plastic
pipes up to .75 inches in diameter. The south pole of the magnet is
designated with an S. Water flow direction should be from north magnetic pole to south magnetic pole.

The illustration to the left shows the proper application of this magnet
to the pipe. The attachment can be made using wire, string, duct tape,
or a hose clamp. The magnet should be installed on the pipe between
the main valve and the water heater. A secondary magnet may be
installed on a pipe that exits the water heater if heavy buildup exists.
