Erica had a busy summer,
working as a Cabana Server
at Roaring Springs, but is excited to be starting her senior
year at Nampa High! With a
3.8 GPA, Erica is a serious
student, having taken several
AP classes last year, like AP
English, AP Medical Terminology and Dental Assisting I.
This year she’ll add AP Statistics and AP Government, as
well as complete her second
year in the Dental Assisting course at Skyview.
FAVORITE CLASSES are Seminary and English, while
TEACHERS WHOVE MADE A DIFFERENCE to Erica
include Mrs. Daniel (Writing). The BEST PIECE OF
ADVICE she might offer to underclassman is: don’t
procrastinate and have school spirit! Erica’s BEST
MEMORY of her time in high school is the chance she’s
had to meet new friends and to build relationships
that’ll last forever. FUTURE PLANS involve graduating
with a Dental Assisting degree, attending BYU-Idaho to
major in a health-related field, the possibility of serving an LDS mission (she’ll turn 19 in August 2018),
and to be married and have a family one day. Erica’s
IMPORTANT VALUES are honesty, respect, and to be
loving. She worships with Nampa’s LDS 12th ward and
will soon complete her Young Women’s Recognition
award. A FAVORITE QUOTE is from Thomas Monson
who said, “decisions determine destiny”. Erica’s
FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT OUT is probably Olive Garden
(oh those breadsticks!), while her mom’s Reese’s
peanut butter cup cookies are a favorite treat at home.
A BEST ROLE MODEL is her mom, Pam.

to help
athletes at games, she
loves medical
classes.
FUTURE PLANS involve
attending either UofI or
BSU and studying Sports
Medicine. Alondra likes to
hike and fish with her
family and is involved at
school in FHLA, HOSA and is President of the Sports
Medicine club. FAVORITE TEACHERS are Rusty Sullivan
(Sports Medicine), Linda Roberts (Health Occupations)
and Mrs. Roderick (Anatomy & Physiology). IMPORTANT
VALUES to Alondra are to always be honest and to know
you can do what you really want to do. She worships
with the Treasure Valley Baptist church and a FAVORITE
QUOTE is from Philippians 4:13 which reads, “I can do
all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”. A
BEST MEMORY is playing sports, which Alondra says has
allowed her to get to know people she wouldn’t otherwise know. One day she’d like to get married and have a
family. A DREAM DESTINATION is Hawaii, while her
FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT OUT is Buffalo Wild Wings! Her
mom, Ancelma, is her BEST ROLE MODEL. If she could
give a PIECE OF ADVICE to underclassmen, Alondra
would tell them to get involved – that’s what makes high
school memorable. And, don’t procrastinate! Take your
work seriously. With a 3.2 GPA the future is a bright
place for this Good Kid. Good luck, Alondra!!
