DRAFT – FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY 2 Background A description of expanded virtual bidding flexibility was posted as part of materials discussed at the September 20, 2014 Budget & Priorities Working Group (BPWG) meeting The NYISO currently allows Market Participants to submit virtual bids through organization specific buses These buses are used to bid Virtual Load and Virtual Supply in each zone Today, the NYISO administers the creation of these buses Expanded virtual bidding flexibility will allow 3 VL and 3 VS bids per zone Each bid will continue to allow up to 3 price/ quantity pairs © 2014 New York Independent System Operator, Inc. DRAFT – FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES ONLY 3 Requesting Additional Buses Market Participants should direct requests for additional virtual buses to Member Relations by June 1, 2014 for virtual bidding availability upon the June release Market Participants will be able to request a maximum of three pairs of Virtual Load and Virtual Supply buses per zone To request additional buses, Market Participants should contact Member Relations at (518) 356 – 6060 or email requests to [email protected] After the June release, Market Participants should continue to direct requests for additional virtual buses to Member Relations An email will be sent out to all Market Participants containing the form to request additional buses © 2014 New York Independent System Operator, Inc.
