Preparatory Professional and Language Courses

Specialized preparatory courses taught in English for foreign students leading
towards study in accredited fields at FEM CULS Prague for academic year
2016/2017
The Centre for International Studies at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) Czech
University of Life Sciences Prague offers one year (two semesters: September 2016 - September 2017)
and half-year (one semester: February 2017 – end of May 2017) courses leading to studies in accredited
bachelor and master study programmes taught in English.
The courses lead to study in the following accredited Bachelor study programmes:
 Business Administration
 Economics and Management
 Informatics
The courses lead to study in the following accredited Master study programmes:
 Economics and Management
 European Agrarian Diplomacy
 Business Administration
 Informatics
Deadlines for submitting applications and conditions are as follows:

One-year and half-year courses – for applicants outside the Czech Republic:
15 May 2016
One-year and half-year courses – for applicants in the Czech Republic:
15 September 2016
Half-year courses (summer semester), for applicants outside the Czech Republic: 15 September 2016
Half-year courses (summer semester), applicants in the Czech Republic:
15 January 2017

For enrolment in the courses you do not have to sit for the entry exam
Initial required level of English skills: beginner A2
Fee for the two-semester course leading to Master study is 4000 EUR
Fee for the two-semester course leading to Bachelor study is 3000 EUR
Fee for the one-semester course is 2000 EUR
Following a successful completion of the course, passing the entry exams and submitting your
nostrification certificate, you can enroll in the regular study in one of the accredited FEM study
programmes
Successfully completed exams may be recognized for the follow-up regular study
Teaching takes place in FEM classrooms with 20 to 100 students
Teaching is provided by specialized pedagogues from individual FEM departments
Teaching duration: 456 teaching hours including 24 hours for exams and tests in one-year courses and
228 teaching hours including 12 hours for exams and tests in half-year courses
