Mr. Elvis Alam Visits LERC

In April 2013, Mr. Elvis Alam the Liaison Officer of LERC to the Dominican Republic paid the
Lebanese Emigration Research Center a visit with his wife Mrs. Hala Hraiz.
During the visit, Mrs. Lilianne Haddad the Chief Indexer and Archivist presented the Lebanese
Emigration Archival Database and received new digital and hard copy items to be placed in the
“Elvis Alam Collection”.

Afterwards, Ms. Maritta Sislian escorted Mr. Alam to the Lebanon Migration Nucleus Museum
and presented the exhibited various rich collections which reflect the presence and achievements
of the Lebanese worldwide.
