Charges for navigation services in 2016
New rates of air navigation charges for the services provided by Polish Air
Services Agency come into effect on 1 January 2016.
Navigation
To all users of Polish airspace PANSA shall provide the air navigation services in FIR
WARSZAWA during the flights over Polish territory and the flights performed to/from
Polish controlled aerodromes.
For the provision of the above mentioned services PANSA collects the following charges :
1 air navigation charge for en-route service (ENR)
2 terminal navigation charge for terminal navigation service (TNC).
ENR - unit rate charges for en-route navigation services in 2016
Pursuant to the current regulations the unit rate route charge ENR presented by PANSA,
was analysed by the Enlarged Commission of the European Organization for the Safety of
Air Navigation EUROCONTROL, which approved it in the following amount.
ENR - unit rate charge for en-route navigation service in January 2016 amounts to EUR
34,59 which is equivalent PLN 145,86 at exchange rate applied 1 EUR= 4,21676 PLN.
The charge for ENR is calculated, billed and collected on behalf of PANSA by Central Route
Charges Office in EUROCONTROL in accordance with the following formula:
ENR charge= unit rate x flown distance in km/100 x
The above charge contains an administrative charge of EUR 0.09 per service unit.
TNC - unit rate charges for terminal navigation services in 2016
On 23 December 2015 the President of Polish Civil Aviation Authority set the amount of the
unit rate charges for terminal navigation service TNC at PLN 772,54.
The approved rate shall enter into force as of 1 January 2016.
Last year the unit rate charges for terminal navigation services amounted to PLN 740,28.
The charge for TNC is calculated, billed and collected by PANSA itself according to the
following formula:
TNC charge = unit rate x (MTOW/50)0,7
The President of the CAA maintained one common charging zone for navigation's terminal
for 15 Polish controlled airports (FIR Warszawa). This means that unit rate for terminal
navigation service, fixed by the President of the CAA ,will be the same for all airports. The
one common charges for terminal navigation services in 2016 will cover the following
airports:
